Point Waterfront Apartments

Everything was amazing…clean rooms, comfortable beds, specious rooms, beautiful views with a huge balcony 10/10. I’ll definitely come back here. The security and cleaning ladies were friendly. The only dislike I have is the check out time! They’ll come knocking on your door at 10am ***!

We had a very comfortable stay!

Stayed in 2 apartments one on top floor with expansive sea views and one overlooking harbour entrance. Staff very friendly. Both apts were clean and comfortable and nicely fitted out although only basic amenities. Some maintenance issues not corrected by end of 4 day stay eg fridge not working well, balcony door lock broken, leaking ceiling on final night. Location not the best for international tourists But has ample secure parking.

We were kept up all night by noisy neighbors (residents) who had a part next to our bedroom. Although staff tried to help things did not improve. Not wanting to risk this happening again we felt forced to move to a different location, despite having only used 1 of our 5 nights rental. We were not compensated for this in any way and management failed to reach out to us, even though we’ve made at least 5 attempts to contact them. Don’t go there. Location not good either

Had a quick stop over in Durban for work. Staff were very friendly and the apartment had everything I needed. Reliable wifi and conveniently located near a fee restaurants. Would highly recommend 👌🏼

We had the best time at Point Waterfront Apartments. Home away from home with uncrowded beaches right on your front door! The local restaurant, Maha, also had delicious food and friendly staff! Highly recommended.

We stayed in apartment 408 and it was disappointing. Firstly the photos on the website and the actual furniture and decor are not the same. In fact, some of the photos are misleading. The unit accommodates four people, but there are only three seats provided in the lounge area, so one of has always had to sit on the patio. The one toilet seat is broken, and even though we reported it, nothing was done. The patio door lock doesn't lock, so we felt a little bit uneasy at night. The main bedroom door leading to the patio, which is a nice feature, could not be used because there isn't a key for it. And the windows definitely needs some cleaning. Whist the view from the patio on the channel leading to the harbour is great (there is no view on the main harbour as implied) the netting covering the patio is bit of an irritance. But this is understandable as it is advertised as a per friendly apartment, but it is something to be aware of before you make your booking. The net in no way disturbs the view but it will definitely give the patio a more open feeeing if there is not net. So my advise, unless you're visiting with pets, look for another apartment in PWA. The area and location is great.

We stayed at the Pointwaterfront apartments in November 2022. Loved every minute of our stay. Staff were so warm and friendly. The apartment was clean and well equipped. I loved that I was allowed to bring my dog on holiday with us. It’s hard to find dog friendly places. It’s right on the beach front. Leisurely, early morning strolls along the promenade watching the sun rise. There is a lovely cafe at the apartment, called Maha. Food is amazing. Coffee is even better. They even provide water bowls for dogs. We have stayed before and just like last time, it was great. No complaints just a happy customer. So glad there are places like Pointwaterfront apartments available.

The place is clean and well kept. The beauty was beyond our expectations. Close to the beach and restaurant. Very close to ushaka
