Travelodge Dublin City Rathmines

Quite possibly the worst hotel I’ve stayed in ever, 2 nights in this horrendous establishment and I’m still in shock I stayed there. The shower leaking from the tray to the bathroom floor, no shower gel or shampoo, the actual empty holder was dirty (how is that possible) straw on the the floor in the bedroom, carpet was battered and falling apart. Stains in the bed and my bin didn’t get emptied either mornings from the cleaner. I always knew travellodge was bad but not this bad. Avoid at all cost

Friendly reception staff but rooms are less furnished and lack of management inspection. 1) No wardrobe/ cupboard in room 2) Only one chair per room (expected at least two chairs per room) 3) Found water leaks from the bath tub and water coming out to the bathroom floor

Alicia in Travelodge gets a special shout out, she was incredibly friendly and funny, but I'd have to say all the staff are top tier. The beds were comfy the room was clean the location was absolutely phenomenal buses that go everywhere you need. Quiet enough location, definitely better than staying in the city. Overall very happy with everything.

Convenient within short distance of main attractions. The front desk manager Alicia was most helpful in providing guidance on public transport and sights.

Great location and right next to Aldi supermarket. The staff is amazing and very helpful but the hotel and facilities are very very dated and needs upgrades. Good for short stays!

it is too expensive for the quality of the rooms. in the bathroom you don't have a handheld shower head. it's hard to wash everything. and the paint on the walls falls into the room, and a lot of stains. don't come!

All good, adequate. No frills. Unfortunately last time, I stayed, the water in shower was only lukewarm.
