Academy Plaza Hotel

We had a wonderful stay at Academy Plaza Hotel in Dublin. Everything was excellent! The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a great location, making it easy to explore the city. From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth and enjoyable. The atmosphere was warm and relaxing, and we felt truly looked after throughout our stay. Highly recommended! We would definitely stay here again. Thank you to the whole team for making our visit so enjoyable!

Do not stay here, they obviously do not care for their customers. The room was visibly dirty, there were drips and splatters of unknown substances on the wall. The "double" bed comprised of two single beds, which isn't an issue in an of itself, but one was higher off the ground than the other, so they weren't flush with each other. The food was poor, I ordered a pizza which was covered in grease, so much so that it soaked through on to the plate. I raised this issue with the waiter, who said something to the effect of "okay, that's fine" and returned with the full bill, not even an apology after he saw I had only eaten 2 slices of my €15 pizza. I gave the waiter the benefit of the doubt and decided upon checkout I'd raise both the dirty room and food service issue, but the lady at the desk once again took no interest, apart from a quick sorry (which I suppose was an upgrade from the restaurant) With the vast array of options in the area, I would definitely look at other hotels as the service is highly unlikely to be as poor as here.

The room was nice. I liked the layout. It was clean and bed comfortable. It was two single beds pushed together which is disappointing when booking a double room. The shower shower was a major disappointment. The door was barely holding into the shower room. It didn't lock. The shower itself had terrible water pressure and didn't feel like enough water to clean yourself.

Had a nice stay here, room was clean and spacious. relaxing bar and reception area.

Location was excellent just off the main drag. Room is a bit small but you do get value for what you pay for. Service staff and reception were professional and gave us good guidance things we can do. Breakfast was adequate. Good decent value for 2 nights stay.

Lovely hotel located in the centre of Dublin! Perfect go get around 10 minute walk to temple bar area etc it was ideal!

Beautiful Irish run hotel The room was spacious and lovely Breakfast and lovely great variety Food in the bar lounge was great Room service very good and friendly Stefania welcomed us ar reception and we got an early check in and late check out when asked. Mateus was very helpful and police also Uros was brilliant, super nice and friendly he organised a taxi for us and brought our luggage to the taxi. He was extremely professional at his job and a great asset to the hotel. He was top class throughout our stay. We were well looked afterahd we will be bank again soon Regard nathleen & family

This hotel was great. Great location, staff were brilliant and the food was amazing. They even have a coffee shop within reception. Would highly recommend.
