Temple Bar Inn

Very warm, friendly service. The hotel itself is in a very busy, very touristy part of town with lots of bars and pubs immediately around it. The room was fine. No a/c, but there was a dyson fan which was effective.

The place is cozy and clean...a peaceful accomodation amidst the noise outside the hotel. I will recommend this to my friends.Ang everythings is near to the hotel: pubs,tesco,bus stops and shops.It's a 3 mins walk to the trinity college as well.

Fantastic staff in a prime location – just expect some noise The location is unbeatable, especially if you're new to Ireland, with easy walking access to airport buses and all the main sights. The staff were absolutely amazing – they took genuine initiative, helping with information, ordering taxis, and even providing a converter plug without me having to ask. The secure entrance gave peace of mind, breakfast was great, and while the rooms are on the small side, they were spotlessly clean. Yes, there's residual noise from the surrounding bars at night, but that's to be expected in Temple Bar. Overall, a brilliant choice for the location and service – just bring earplugs!

Rooms are smallish but spotlessly clean. Not air conditioned but provided fans when asked for them. Can't say enough about the kindness of the staff. Incredible breakfast with great offerings for any kind of eater, including celiac or vegan. Make sure you ask for a quiet room facing the back, street can get busy and loud especially on weekends. Overall great area to walk around, get food, see sights, and access transit. Would stay again.

I was very disappointed with my stay at Temple Bar Inn. The room itself was tired and in need of redecorating, with scuffed walls and paintwork that could really do with refreshing. The bathroom was clean and perfectly acceptable, which was one of the few positives. However, the bath towel supplied was stained. The lack of air conditioning made the stay very uncomfortable. The only fan provided did very little to cool the room, and when we arrived, the thermostat was inexplicably set to 30°C, making the room unbearably hot. Our room was on the second floor directly above the bar and ****** area. Despite specifically requesting a quiet room, we were kept awake by loud music until after 2am on both nights of our stay. Having to get up early meant we were left exhausted. I raised these concerns with the hotel, but I felt my complaint was simply dismissed rather than properly considered. The response showed very little understanding that this wasn't just one bad night—it was two nights of disrupted sleep. Unfortunately, due to the poor room condition, lack of air conditioning, excessive noise, and disappointing customer service, I would not choose to stay here again. B

I’ve never been one to write reviews however this hotel is a must if you’re visiting Dublin! Prime location as it’s on the main ***** in the temple bar area, brilliant pubs, eateries and shops nearby. We were warmly greeted by a lovely man on the security desk who directed us downstairs to check in, room was ready before check in time so always ring or pop in even if you’re early to see if your room is ready. Reception staff were polite and very helpful offering maps of the local area, recommending a restaurant, offering to book taxis, etc. Our room was a twin, plenty of room for 2 adults with added comforts of a fan and mini fridge. The en-suite was clean and modern, the shower was amazing especially with the included toiletries (shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and moisturiser) which smell lovely. We did request a south facing room and it was not noisy at all. We had breakfast from the la carte menu, freshly cooked, tasted lovely with generous portions. On check out we stored our luggage as our flight was late evening, once again offering to book us a taxi for the airport, very helpful!
