We booked the hotel as a family for the first 5 days in Dubai. From the airport you are quickly there and the check in midnight has also sounded well. The suite we booked was very good. With 2 separate bedrooms and a lot of space to play for the kids. All was very clean and we felt very well. The pool is large enough to allow you to swim very well. There is also a pool for smaller kids. Both pools are watched and heated. Breakfast could offer a little more choice for a Jumeirah, but what was there has also completely reached. That's sad at high level. All was fresh and was regularly filled. The serveers are very struggling and do not take it bad for the kids even if something falls down. High chairs are enough. The equipment in the apartment did not open any wishes. Even the whirlpool was used by the kids every evening. The kitchen is fully equipped and directly at the hotel is a mini market where you get everything important to provide the kids even one time. Since we were there over Silvester we used the room service with the kids on the Silvester evening and ordered food in the suite. Very very delicious and in any case recommend! The view of Burj Khalifa was very enjoyable on Silver evening! You are just a little further outside and you have to go a few kilometres to come to Jumeirah Beach for example. We used Uber or the local tax mostly, so it was no problem. The Metro is also very good. The hotel is very good for families because it offers a very good price-performance ratio. We would book it again at any time.

Good location near Metro. Fun night club. Unfortunately night staff will hassle you, try sporadically to charge extra for guests and overcharge for their taxi service. Fun time but watch out for their questionable billing practices. Spa service was excellent.

Breakfast is plentiful and suitable for families with children. It is convenient to travel near the subway station and there are many restaurants nearby. You can choose your favorite food. Will come again next time.

Room: The facilities are very new, and many small details are outstanding. For example, the teas in the minibar are all the best local brands. Catering: The pastry part is amazing, the rest is just average. Service: Maybe because it is newly opened, you can see a lot of service staff, but the efficiency is not very high, but the flaws are not concealed. The infinity pool on the 27th floor is very nice. It is said to be the longest in the world. Generally speaking, the atmosphere created has the same flavor as one&only.

It was my first time in Dubai. The hotel was nice and exactly what I needed for my first week. The service team was extremely helpful, especially Kurlos. They were all so kind and helped me navigate my first time here. The room service was good and well priced. The young man that runs the breakfast buffet was exceptional! Always delightful and goes above and beyond. The buffet was great! I would have stayed longer but wanted to be closer to things that I was doing. I highly recommend this hotel! Amazing staff! Thank you!

More about Dubai

Introduction to Dubai: A Confluence of Traditions and Futurism

Located on the Eastern coast of the Arabian Peninsula, in the south west corner of the Arabian Gulf, Dubai is one of the seven emirates that make up the United Arab Emirates. Known for its opulent architecture, luxury shopping and vibrant nightlife, Dubai offers an irresistible blend of traditional Arabic culture and futuristic innovation. This city is home to the tallest building in the world, the Burj Khalifa, and it boasts an artificial island in the shape of a palm tree, the Palm Jumeirah!

Tips for Travelling to Dubai

Dubai International Airport, one of the busiest airports in the world, serves as the primary gateway to the city. The Dubai Metro, taxis, and ride-hailing services like Uber are commonly used to navigate the city.

Visa policies vary depending on nationality, so travellers are advised to check the UAE embassy website in their respective countries. Credit cards are widely accepted and the official language is Arabic, but English is commonly used, especially in business and by the large expatriate population.

As for traditions, remember that the UAE is a Muslim country and visitors should dress modestly in public. Also, the consumption of alcohol is regulated and is typically only allowed within licensed venues.

Unforgettable Attractions in Dubai

Dubai's iconic skyline is dominated by architectural marvels like the Burj Khalifa, Burj Al Arab and the Palm Jumeirah. Shoppers will find their paradise in the Dubai Mall and the traditional Gold and Spice Souks. For a dose of culture, one can visit the Dubai Museum, Al Fahidi Historic District or the stunning Jumeirah Mosque. The adventurous can explore the vast Arabian Desert on a safari.

Weather in Dubai and the Best Time to Visit

Dubai has a hot desert climate with extremely hot summers (June to September) with temperatures frequently reaching 41°C (105°F), and warm winters (December to March) averaging 24°C (75°F). The most comfortable time to visit is from November to April.

As for clothing, light, breathable fabrics are recommended due to the heat. However, it's also wise to carry a light jacket or shawl, as indoor areas can be heavily air-conditioned.

Selecting the Right Hotel in Dubai

Dubai's hotels are as varied and impressive as its skyline. To stay near main attractions, consider the Armani Hotel inside the Burj Khalifa.

For a food-centric stay, Pierchic offers gourmet dining and is located near various eateries.

For luxury accommodation, the Burj Al Arab is an iconic choice, while budget travellers can consider Rove Downtown, which offers great value.

Business travellers might appreciate the convenient location of Dusit Thani near the business district. Atlantis The Palm offers highly Instagrammable views and interiors. Near the airport, the Dubai International Hotel offers convenient and comfortable lodging.
