The St. Regis Downtown Dubai

Beyond imagination and expectation! It was a transition stop for us to catch an early flight, however everyone in St.Regis made this short stay last long. ALL crew show their hospitality and caring. We would definitely choose St.Regis Downtown Dubai again and recommend it to our friends.

This was an underwhelming visit to a St. Regis property. The rooms were clean and housekeeping was good. But that's about the only positive. Location of the hotel is quite far away from Dubai Mall, despite having "downtown" in its name. Views around the hotel are dominated by construction sites. Our TV also glitched throughout our visit. I guess the hotel is ok for business travel, who only care for a clean bed and a good breakfast to start the day. But I would not recommend it to tourists visiting Dubai.

I have booked 4 different St. Regis hotels in ABU Dhabi and Dubai, and the St. Regis Downtown Dubai was the disappointment one! Hotel hardware is not five-star level at all, the bed is very soft, sleep down basically can not get up. Hotel staff are poor service minded, inefficient and have no sense of time. When we checked in on 19th, we told the front desk that we would catch a plane the next day and hoped to book a taxi for us at 8:00 in the morning. The front desk promised that it would be no problem. On the evening of 19th, we reminded the front desk again to book a taxi for us at 8:00am in the morning of 20th. No one booked a taxi for us at 8:00 in the morning of the 20th, so we called an expensive taxi due to the urgency of the time. After we filed a complaint, the hotel also said that the taxi reservation could not be booked. How a great excuse for this hotel!

It was close to major attractions, shopping malls, and entertainment venues. The hotel also provided easy access to transportation, making it convenient to explore the city. Overall, my experience at The St. Regis Downtown Dubai was truly unforgettable. The combination of luxury, impeccable service, and prime location made it the perfect choice for my stay in Dubai. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a truly indulgent and memorable experience.
