Aloft Me'aisam Dubai, A Marriott Hotel

Location is great for any events in Dubai expo, Also 20 minutes from JBR and Mall of Emirates.

Need to take care of the bathroom and its fittings. Other than that, clean, quiet, nice staff, good location and easy access.

Overall CANNOT RECOMMEND this hotel due to very POOR LEVEL OF SERVICE from all staff I had interactions with: -since we decided last minute to come to Dubai and all hotels we usually like to stay at were booked out we booked this as it looked decent online … from my first call to inquire about facilities and shuttles I asked about shuttle details and was asked for my WhatsApp the guy promised to send shuttle details but it took several call backs and then some female staff just shared the shuttle driver’s number. When I asked for details such as time and location of pick up she asked me to message the driver. The shuttle driver was helpful though. Then when we got to the hotel there was a long wait since a group of airline staff were checking in. My daughter was tired from the heat I asked the only receptionist to call more staff he said yes but didn’t call anyone. Then 2 staff members came chatting to each other instead of offering to assist us with check in. The guy who did our check in gave 0 info on hotel facilities or to welcome us he just gave any room when I requested high floor he said high floor rooms are under maintenance…When we got upstairs both cards didn’t work. I called reception and a female Asian staff said I must come down to get correct cards…she was extremely unhelpful..Only when I told her that I’m alone with lots of luggage and young child and insisted to send someone up she said ok. After some minutes I called again as no one came spoke to the same lady I asked her how long it would take and she simply hang up the phone even though I was very politely asking and saying I’m ok to come down if it takes much longer.. Online it said there is a billiard room there is no room. Just billiard table located very awkwardly behind the reception the space around it on all 4 sides is not enough free space to play. At reception is water but when I took some it tasted very very bad… my daughter also said it tasted so bad so I asked Asian looking receptionist lady if this is tap water she looked at me and said yes and had 0 understanding why I am shocked that they put tap water and mark it as water to drink for guest. The lift and every single floor of the hotel is accessible without having to tab your card which is a major safety concern. When we got there we were told the pool is open 8am to 8pm but at around 7.30 pm there was already a closed sign and no lifeguard. As soon as we checked in around 7pm on 15. October 2025 I switched the ac off for medical reasons when we came to the room at 11pm the room was still cold. I called reception again the very unhelpful Asian lady responded she made me repeat my question 3 times before telling me she will check with her colleague then her colleague answered the phone asking me for room number and what I want I told him his colleague should have told him instead of making guest repeat requests another time.. he said he will send a technician the technician came agreed that despite me switching the ac off 4 hours ago the room was still cold. My daughter and I were exhausted and it was very late she needed to sleep instead of reception offering another room I had to request this and was told they will check and call back. Around 2am they called and woke me and my daughter up … for obvious reasons we didn’t want to change room in the middle of the night. In the meantime the technician came back with a ladder and did something in the night..He said he switched something off I wasn’t able to properly understand him as I was trying to understand what we need to do if we get too hot….if you expect common sense or basic level of service AVOID THIS HOTEL.. there are much better hotels with better facilities better price in better location and most importantly far better level of service. The hotel is surrounded by construction sites and noise you cannot relax at the pool and part of the hotel is also under maintenance.. none of this was communicated at check in had I know I would have
