Traditional hotel with nice atmosphere probably could do with a bit of modernisation but has lots of character. Room 22 was clean and plenty room for us. Lovely staff

What a lovely hotel. Staff are so friendly and obliging. The service from Kerr and Vic was first class. Then there’s the pie. What can I say other than that turkey and ham pie was amazing. So glad we decided on a whim to drive this way and book a wee overnighter. All I can say is I can’t wait for my breakfast.😇😊

We had a brilliant stay at The Drymen Inn on the 1st November. My friends and I were going to a ‘sip and paint’ night at The Art Studio just round the corner. We booked the family room. It was clean, comfortable and very cosy. There was a Halloween party on when we got back and the staff went all out to make us feel welcome. We had a great night! After a great sleep we had a very tasty full Scottish breakfast, again, service was excellent. We enjoyed it so much we’re making it a yearly event! Thanks to all the staff. We’ll definitely be back for lunch/dinner soon!

This was our final stop after a tour around the Scottish highlands and Outer Hebrides. It was the most expensive stay so our expectations were high. On arrival, the bar was busy but we soon got our room keys and made our way to the Conic Suite. Initial impression was good. The room was clean and spacious. However, the blind on the velux window was broken and took time and patience to wedge it shut. The television did not work. The staff, although friendly and courteous were too busy to help. We managed the blind and retuned the television ourselves (although we could only get BBC programmes). Dinner in the bar was very nice and breakfast was good, but nothing exceptional. After our first night's stay, the room was not refreshed. Having the bed remade is not an issue, but we did not expect having to ask for more teabags, milk and, embarrassingly, toilet paper. Clean mugs would have been appreciated. For the pricetag, we would have expected toiletries other than a dispenser of generic soap in the shower. All in all, an expensive and disappointing stay. 2 stars given instead of 1 because the bed was comfortable, the staff were pleasant (although busy) and the location is good. Could do better!

Room is very compact. Parking is at a space across and away from the inn so not recommended if you have alot of luggage. Service is great, very friendly and their full Scottish breakfast was delicious.

After our first day hiking on the West Highland Way, the Drymen Inn was a lovely place to land owing to the wonderful people working here. Our three rooms were not quite ready when we arrived, but Jacyln invited us to enjoy a beverage in the bar with a professional, but very friendly manner. Our rooms were soon ready and after a lovely shower, we returned to have a pre-dinner drink served up by Kerr who exuded a great Scottish vibe even though she was crazy busy. After a restful night, our included breakfast (only for those staying @ the Inn), was tasty and filling, perfect for our long hiking day ahead. One last compliment: Jane (who was working the breakfast shift), helped us out a ton, by mentioning a better way of rejoining the WHW trail rather than backtracking on the busy road. She took time out of her busy schedule to make certain that we knew the way before we departed. Just one more example of how the staff here was the best!
