相較於各家民宿、私人賓館服務質量的參差不齊，金灘大酒店算是金灘景區中為數不多較大、相對正規的酒店，前身是金灘培訓中心住宿樓，整體佔地寬闊，客房樓層四層。本次預訂入住的是家庭套房，兩室一廳兩衞的佈局、帶廚房（就在進門邊，但嫌麻煩沒有用），按介紹的客房面積70平米應該相差不多，整體很寬敞；客廳居中、住房對門分居兩邊。先説結論，房價不算便宜、性價比不高，但是作為家庭出遊如果優先考慮入住體驗不考慮價格的話，值得住。
優點：半靠海，酒店後有路直通海邊，步行5分鐘左右，也可以開車過去；家庭套房房型好評；停車免費，場地開闊，可以任性停；客房提供冰箱，可以保存水果、飲料等；周邊環境清凈不吵鬧；提供雙早，早餐內容不算豐盛，但味道不錯，能夠吃飽，提供常見主食炒粉、白粥皮蛋瘦肉粥、豆漿包子饅頭紅薯等，還有一些小菜搭配。
不足：酒店位置相對景區偏東，周邊幾乎沒有餐飲，到小轉盤附近有很多大排檔吃飯；設施相對老舊，熱水温度低；衞生清潔不到位，洗手間洗臉盆殘留有上一任住客的頭髮、地上也有毛髮遺留；貴。
家庭出遊、價格不敏感，希望相對寬敞、清凈的住宿環境，可以嘗試。

房間充滿着發黴的味道，沙窗可能一年都沒有洗，佈滿了灰塵，我們要求服務員換房間，服務員卻要求我們退房，非常糟糕的一次體驗，訂房時還説什麼可以升級，都是騙人的，服務態度太差

優點：價格便宜，春節期間180的價格實屬難得，還提供早餐。離海灘近，5分鐘路程。
缺點：酒店設施偏舊，衞生間地面的水一直幹不了，很潮濕的感覺，也許是靠海的原因吧。另外就是一樓公共衞生間衞生工作需要加強，其實酒店的衞生間清潔情況才是細節重要體現，感官很重要。
入住建議：對環境不太介意的，這個價格確實可以哈。

酒店在裝修，房間陳舊，有股黴味，衞生方面有待加強，衞生間門把手都是乳膠漆，入住沒有見有牙具紙巾之類的給客人準備。優點就是離海邊近，早餐有簡單的幾樣粥、炒粉、豆漿之類的，服務態度還行……希望裝修後能提供更好的服務……

有一説一，我去的時候其實還在裝修，在比較實惠的價格下，先説酒店位置：位置還算比較優越，看不到海，但是位置幽靜，步行十分鐘能到泥濘的海邊。酒店後面的游泳池不開，還沒清理乾淨，旁邊的樹林晚上沒燈，完全的漆黑。
房間：房間大小合適，設施一般，床墊還算舒適。大門沒鎖鏈，心理感覺有點不安。衞生間衞生一般，玻璃水漬明顯，隔斷的玻璃膠全部發黴，有時候下水道會有臭氣沖上來。馬桶沒刷乾淨。房間地面可能因為裝修沒清掃乾淨一層的灰。
設施：酒店電梯很爛。事實上我應該説沒見過這種又新又舊的酒店，翻新裝修是事實，但是很多地方還是破破爛爛。一百多元住宿費送兩份早餐，是普通中式主食式早餐：包子油條粥炒粉，水煮蛋豆漿，還有兩個醃菜，管飽。酒店走廊是瓷磚，早上如果有人拖行李什麼的就特別大聲。
服務人員很友善。
