Hotels near Vanguard (East to Donggangcheng), Dongguan

I had an event in Dongguan Houjie area to attend so decided to stay at this hotel. Location is convenient, 5 minute walk from Exhibition metro station, and also only a 15 minute taxi ride to Humen high speed railway station. The room is cozy, new and very clean. It has everything I need, convenient store nearby and the breakfast buffet is simple and good. Furthermore, the staff were very friendly. After we left, they messaged us that my son left some toys there and arranged the parcel person to have it shipped back to us. Superb service.

Great place to stay. Friendly staff, they speak English too. The area is perfect. Walking distance from a huge shopping mall and several others around. More shops nearby too. They have a basketball court right there, just outside the hotel grounds. Very entertaining.

It is close to public park but there is not much thing over there. They have a good food but it is quickly runout because they have many customers, so you have to eat breakfast early. Inside the room is ok, it is not perfect but enough to stay for business trip. Unfortunately there is no body lotion to serve customer even winter time like today.

The location of the hotel is excellent. Very convenient, very close to Dongcheng Metro Station. The lady at the front desk is very nice and greets everyone when she comes in and out. We were also upgraded to an executive room. Before leaving, I forgot my power bank, so I took the initiative to send it to me.

Very good service. Very friendly staff. Breakfast Buffet could be better for the standing of the hotel and the price.

Very convinient its right in the middle of town and most places like shopping and food is within walking distance. Except for the hotel restaurant is close and have to go out and eat.

I booked via Trip app so easy to locate and compare pricing and facilities. Checked in late about 9:45 pm was 5 min. The foyer is so big and hotel has lots of amenities for you to enjoy. My Room was just as it was displayed in the photo and with a very good the view from my room Window I can see the swimming pool and gym and it was late June very hot I plans to go for a swimming the next day. I went out the town of Changping is lively place restaurants were still open and streets were alive with people. Lots of shops and arcades to look through. My room came with breakfast the next morning and a late check out at 3:pm gave me time to eat and see the sites of this beautiful city. I recommend this hotel the staff are friendly and helpful. The room (Guest Room) we chose was so-so. Limited to 7th floor. I believe these were the rooms partially renovated from the old sauna service rooms prior to the vice crackdowns from ten years ago. The rooms were fitted with a sauna (not sure if working or not) and open, not enclosed shower. Room was smaller than the deluxe/executive rooms and did not have the amenities such as bathtub, enclosed shower, in room safe, bathrobes, disposable slippers, iron and ironing board. I would recommend paying $4 - $10 more just to get one of the other rooms. The redeeming factor about our stay was that it fell during their 14th anniversary and we were able to receive discounts of about 30% on our dinner meals. We had two separate consecutive reservations.

Huge hotel and lots of room to be chosen. Room is big, clean and tidy. Hotel arranged personal service manager to coordinate with during stays. Request being served at nice and fast manner which is highly appreciated. Lots of activities for kids. Just some activities need to be charged additionally and I will suggest hotel can offer discount for guests who stay in hotel. Plenty of choice of breakfast but when getting crazy when lots of guest going to have breakfast at the same time. Lack of food. Suggest hotel can assign some time slot for guests so divide guests into groups to avoid having breakfast at the same time. Due to hotel is large, lifts are provided at one side only. If i stay in the room far from the lift while I am going to the location downstairs just behind my room, I need to walk 10 mins to the lift and then another 10 mins to the location where i need to go.Highly suggest hotel can newly build some lifts in the other side of the building so guest (especially elderly need not walk long way).

Nice and comfortable hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Inexpensive, modern, I liked everything.
