Located in a quiet residential area, the aparthotel is 7-8 mins walk from the bus stop and about 15 mins from the lake. We reached late and were provided instructions to locate a key safe at the back of the building. It was a bit challenging to find but was guided to it by another resident. The room was pretty dated although it has been spruced up with some modern furniture. There was a private balcony facing the street. It had all the amenities and the sofa bed worked well for a family of four. The breakfast option is available but we didn’t take up on it as the centre is a few mins walk away. On days that there is farmers market you can get fresh produce from there. The staff at reception are brilliant. Very welcoming and highly engaging. All in all a decent stay at the place at a fraction of a price for what we would have paid in Geneva. Good base for exploring the region and for a quick entry into Geneva and getting the train to other places.

Hôtel vieillot qui nécessite une rénovation sérieuse. Cuisine et salle de bain vétustes: une douche dans une baignoire ( j’ai failli tomber en descendant de la baignoire !) Ce qui était censé être un gel douche et shampoing avait une odeur très désagréable . Pas de Clim, une fenêtre qui s’ouvre trop peu pour aérer. Et un petit-déjeuner très cheap, tout industriel. Il y a pourtant de bonnes boulangeries pâtisseries tout près !

Das Appartement war sehr gross und ich denke, das Hotel läuft gut, weil es in der Nähe von Genf liegt. In kurzer Zeit erreicht man Genf, Genfersee, Nyon und schöne Wandergebiete im Jura. Das ist ideal. Es war heiss. Sehr heiss. Hitzewelle, über 35°C. Den ganzen Tag prallte die Sonne an die Hauswand, keine Sonnenschirme auf der Terrasse, keine Klimaanlage. Hotel ohne Klimaanlage? Es war nachts so heiss, dass man kaum schlafen konnte. Und es war laut, sehr laut, die Wände ringhörig. Über uns eine Familie mit 4-5 Kindern, man hörte jedes Stühleschieben, Weinen etc. Die Sauberkeit liess zu wünschen übrig. Das Bad ebenfalls. Morgens um 8h mähte der Hausmeister den Rasen. Welchen Rasen? Alles braunverbrannt. Ich nehme an, er nahm mit dem Rasenmäher den Müll zusammen, den die Leute aus dem Zimmer warfen (v.a. Zigarettenstummel). Nie mehr.

Pas de Clim odeurs mauvaise et insupportable pas assez d’équipement et sales bruits toute la nuit à éviter une honte pour une ville comme Divonne Les Bains merci de le rénover avant d’accueillir des clients
