The hotel is relatively new, just opposite the shopping center, so it is very convenient. It is not soundproof. At two o'clock in the evening, the men and women next door are not sure if they drink too much or otherwise. It is very annoying to look around and talk. If the hotel can do a little better sound insulation, it will be fine.

I had around 10 hours in-between arrival and departure through Thompson. There is almost nothing to do and with luggage in tow, I wandered around several hotels to see if they could offer a day room until 19:00. Most were full, but Super 8 had vacant rooms and the option of using a room at a reduced price. All sorted at the front desk and my room was spacious, very clean. Sofa, cooking facilities (electric hob, microwave) plus fridge. Good bathroom which I made use of. WiFi worked well and good quality coffee pods and maker. Whilst not a full overnight stay, I am sure the beds were comfortable and the only thing I didn't get a chance to sample was breakfast. Super 8 don't generally come out well in reviews. Difficult to understand why based on what I experienced in Thompson was just as good compared to others chain hotels.
