Family-friendly Hotels in Diani Beach

The whole resort staff are very friendly and nice. The breakfast and dinner are really good with a wide variety of choices . However , the rooms and amenities need a bit of refurnishing as it starts to see slightly dated. The toilet needs to be cleaner as there seems to be some hard white spots appearing on the levers. The entertainment room also needs to be maintained. Overall , we still had a good stay nevertheless

Great location right by the beach ...amazing staff at the reception when checking in . I especially loved the rooms, they are modern, clean and no mosquitoes. I would just recommend a little improvement at the restaurant section , our pizza wasn't nicely done , but then again the hotel.was.hosting dinners every night maybe the staff was tired . Otherwise it's a great hotel and the nights were always fun , child friendly and a great spot to have a good time

The breakfast variety is too small, two points can be checked in, waiting for the stay, the waiter will not provide free drinking water. Service attitude is general, not as good as treating white people warmly.

My husband and I had a wonderful 5 day stay at Southern Palms in Mombasa after a hectic 2wks of safari at the Serengeti and Masai Mara.We were a group of 5 couples, all 60+ on a nostalgic trip to East Africa. The hotel was a breath of fresh air and a much needed place for relaxation and some pampering. The moment we arrived late evening, we were were greeted by warm smiling faces. Check in was speedy and efficient and the room was very spacious with a large, comfy bed and the Wifi was great. Our cleaner Mkullu (i hope i got that right) was very graciuous and pleasant and did a great job. The food in the buffet restaurant was nothing short of amazing. Such a vast selection of food for any pallette, ranging from Local, Eastern, European, Asian, Indian and Continental. There were 10 of us with different tastes and dietary requirements and the menu met all of them. We honestly could have spent all day trying everything.. We enjoyed a lovely Italian meal at La Via Romania and a BBQ meal at El Nomad (both by reservations only). Afternoon tea every day between 4pm -5pm was a real treat, again with a variety of excellent foods.A big thankyou to Rezzy at the Spa. She was amazing and hit all the spots needing attention. The pool area was well kept and the beach was amazing. We could not fault the hotel at all and would definitely recommend it to family and friends. Possibly, return ourselves one day.😁

Villa Mandhari is a hidden Gem and absolute beauty. It’s a family friendly place. The bedrooms are air conditioned . Having space to cook for yourself or an option for chef is also great. The pool is cleaned daily and we loved it because we could jump in the morning till sunset. My husband and I also loved the gym. The place is also very clean - daily cleaning. We loved the hospitality from the entire staff - including the security team, reception and manager . Transport to the beach was always a call away and arranged by the hotel . We all loved and enjoyed staying here. Certainly recommend to our friends and family.
