Renaissance Dhaka Gulshan Hotel

Beautiful hotel, a haven of peacefulness which was very enjoyable to retreat to after exploring the chaotic streets of Dhaka. All staff members were very polite and friendly, the room was comfortable and the breakfast buffet was excellent. The rooftop pool and bar are also great.

Very nice hotel, clean, in the centre of Dhaka. Only amnesties I tried is the gym, which is great. The only bad point would be the price of the drinks, which is incredibly high… Besides that, amazing place to stay.

I’m unfortunately dissatisfied with the service at the renaissance hotel dhaka as I was gaslit for multiple days about being able to adjust my reservation which in the end was not amended causing an extra nights charge. The gaslighting extended beyond my stay and through attempted communication in WhatsApp from a number provided by the front desk at the hotel. Communication was not made on the Hotel’s behalf after multiple messages until I finally booked another hotel and informed them that I won’t be returning to which they promptly replied after they knew they would get my money for the additional quote that I did not stay. The room was clean, the pool has bare wires under the water that was concerning but I did survive a swim. The sauna is great. Sara was lovely at breakfast. All of the staff I came in contact with was overly helpful and attentive face to face but this seems to be a front as when an actual issue occurred they are not willing to help.

Brilliant service overall. Exceptional customer services provided by all staff from security, front desk to housekeeping.
