recently stayed at Stanford Hotel Hong Kong and overall had a pleasant experience.
The location is definitely one of the hotel's strongest points, with easy access to shopping, dining, and public transportation. It is a convenient base for exploring Hong Kong.
The breakfast was decent, although nothing particularly special. I noticed that many hotel breakfasts in Hong Kong tend to be quite simple and basic compared to what I am used to elsewhere. That said, the coffee served during breakfast was excellent and easily the highlight of the morning.
The rooms were very clean and well maintained. One thing I particularly appreciated was the air conditioning—the room stayed pleasantly cool throughout my stay, which was especially welcome after spending time outdoors in Hong Kong's humid weather.
The reception staff were professional, although a warmer and more welcoming attitude would have made a better first impression. A simple smile can go a long way in hospitality.
The only feature I missed was a bidet in the bathroom. I understand this may be related to local preferences or hotel standards, but it is something that many travelers from other parts of Asia may find useful and appreciate.
Overall, this is a clean, comfortable hotel in a very good location. While there is room for improvement in some areas, I would still consider staying here again because of its convenience and well-maintained facilities.
