The Lodge at Eagle Crest

The grounds are great. Good walking paths and enjoyed playing pickleball at the outside courts. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The Lodge itself is a little run down. Coffee machine was not working, shower had a bit of mold in the caulk, bed head board made of leather had scuff and abrasion marks. Furniture was chipped in places. Had a wonderful pizza at the watch tower restaurant.

The room was clean but the headboards were scratched up and looked dirty. I would replace them if I owned the resort. The hot tub worked fine, was hot but had no lights whatsoever in it or around it. Just street lights. The front desk worker was doing her best but it was only her second day on the job and she was left alone. That's not right to do to your staff. She was struggling with basic check because she was not properly trained and did not know what to do. She was problem solving and called another manager to walk her through things. She was very attentive and helpful but could not answer basic questions about the property. Being so new, she should have had a second person working with her. That is not professional to leave an entire resort in the hands of someone who is not properly trained and so new.

Eagle Crest is a great place for amenities outside of staying at the hotel. The staff were great, but our room felt like it was step back in time. The bed frame had rips, there was a build up of dust on the bathroom fan and on the wall and it just felt outdated compared to the rest of the resort.

Staff were very welcoming and friendly. The cafe for breakfast was delicious. We did not like that we had to drive to the locations of the hot tub/pool, we assumed it was connected to area rooms are located, but it’s not.

The room: Musty, peeling vinyl headboard, not super clean, dated, no sheer curtains, flickering bathroom lights. Security: Did not feel safe. I noted that none of the exterior doors were locked down. This made me extremely nervous as a solo, female traveler. The outdoor spa near the lodge isn’t well lit and while I was in the spa alone I felt ok but as soon as someone else joined me, I didn’t feel safe to stay. Amenities: I did use the resort pool with my local family which was very nice! The staff that I engaged with were lovely and helpful!

My kids had a blast! We spent most of our time at the pool and hot tub! The room was nice and clean, but definitely outdated. So if you want a fancy resort style this probably isn’t for you. Families or quiet tranquility this is your place! We also explored the caves nearby and waterfall, definitely a to do!

staff was very courteous, but our room was not clean(dusty, not vacuumed, broken towel bar, shortage of kleenex). heating system was hit and miss.

Room was pretty dated and head boards are falling apart. Cant complain too much for the cost though and amenities like indoor pool and hottub was nice.

I was traveling by myself. My room was on a lower floor next to a exterior door locking mechanism seemed to be broken. The room had no outlets near the bed for technology, I had to use the one Outlet in the hallway to charge my phone. The bathroom looked to renovated but again, the outlet was on the right wall away from the mirror and sink and the cord did not reach, especially with me being left-handed. The toilet seat was broken. There was mold in the shower, rust on the soap dispenser and the shower head and faucet or both loose. The shower head also had water scale and was hard to use. I did not seek another room because I was there just for a short time but if I were there to use the Eagle Crest Resort facilities I definitely would have requested another room. been
