Great experience would definitely go again and recommend to others

The hotel was previously used as a migrant hostel before returning to use as a hotel and could do with freshening up as our room stank of cigarette smoke and had fag burns in the bath. Food was nice and staff friendly and curtious

Lovely welcome from Reception room very spacious and clean.

Disappointed that the pool wasn’t available due to refurbishment and was not advised of this in advance. Gym had everything you needed and sauna and steam room still open. Also the restaurant was closed and only a limited menu served in the bar was available. Having said this, they made a real effort to make some tables in the bar look special with tablecloths and candles and the food we had was delicious and well presented. Staff couldn’t have been more welcoming and attentive. Room was spacious with a comfy bed. Breakfast was typical buffet with hot & cold offerings. Smoked salmon was lovely touch! Would definitely stay here again. Great value for money!

Nice place However the pool is out of order And it is no smoking on outdoor balconies which was a it inconvenient

Clean and tid. Did the job. Had everything I needed in the room.

From the outside, the hotel makes a charming first impression with its elegant façade, ornate balconies, and a warmly lit lobby that exudes a sense of old-world charm. The check-in process is smooth, and the staff are courteous and eager to help. The room was clean and spacious, the décor is a bit dated but it adds a character to the place and I like it. The only small issue was, there’s no window only a door to the balcony which is locked and we cannot access it making the room stuffy. Also, it was difficult to relax or get a good night’s sleep due to a noise of exhaust fan in the bathroom throughout the night. The bed was comfortable and having an iron was a bonus. Will I stay again? Definitely.

Hotel staff friendly, very clean hotel. Slightly dated but pleasant. Air con kept turning off.
