We had a great stay and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was simple but wholesome and our room was clean. The view from our balcony was fantastic!

Great service and location. Had a view across the whole mountain range. Breakfast- decent but not a big variety of foods (Chinese: boiled eggs, steamed buns and sweet potato, fermented tofu, pickled bamboo, soy milk. however, this is what you get in all of the hotels on this mountain).
Ask the staff for directions before you go. It's easy to get there with public transportation. I went by train from Shanghai-Hangzhou- Deqing and then by local bus Y1 to Mogonshan town and transfer to Mogonshan scenic spot tourist bus that takes you up the mountain (300m from the hotel).

The location of the villa is excellent. 400 meters to the left is where Chairman Mao stayed. Next to it is the best viewing point of Naked Castle. 100 meters to the right is the Yinjie Jianchi scenic spot just below. The facilities are complete and the environment is beautiful. The service is enthusiastic. Because it is off-season, the proprietress also upgraded the room for free. It is very quiet at night. In addition to the birdsong, there is the clock telling the time in the distance.
