Guanjing Tiantang Hotel

After a lot of research, I chose this hotel to see the sunrise on the Golden Mountain. The hotel's location is perfect, offering views of both the main peak, Kawagarbo, and the Goddess Peak simultaneously. You can see the snow-capped mountains directly from your room, with no obstructions. The outdoor balcony is great for photos. I didn't close the curtains all night and was incredibly lucky to see the moonlight on the silver mountains 🏔️, the Milky Way 🌌, and the sunrise on the Golden Mountain 🌅. The underfloor heating inside the room was excellent, so it wasn't cold at all, and there was also oxygen equipment, so I didn't experience any altitude sickness. The hotel has a restaurant where you can order à la carte for lunch and dinner, and the food was surprisingly good. They even delivered warm milk and snacks in the evening.

This hotel boasts an excellent location, perched on a hill, offering full views of the snow-capped mountains even from second-floor rooms – perfect for sightseeing! Waking up to an unobstructed snow view is incredible, and there's a dedicated viewing spot on the rooftop, so you don't even need to leave the premises. The facilities are also top-notch, with floor heating and diffused oxygen supply, making for a very comfortable stay overall. The breakfast provided is quite distinctive, with sweet corn and pumpkin, plus hot milk. The staff are also very friendly; you can contact them at the foot of the hill for a pickup service.

The service was very attentive, and the pick-up service was also excellent! 👍 Highly recommend. The views are fantastic, no need to even go to a separate observation deck.

The location for viewing the 'golden mountain' (sunrise over snow-capped peaks) is first-rate. Although the facilities are a bit old, most hotels in similar prime locations are about the same, so choosing this one isn't a bad idea. The included breakfast is generous and filling.

The room was excellent, with great views of the snowy mountains. The location is super convenient, so you don't have to get up early and walk to a viewpoint. Thumbs up! You can even capture the 'Golden Mountain bathed in sunlight' right from your room's balcony! 👍

The room's window directly faces Meili Snow Mountain, truly a paradise for views. However, there's a construction crane in front recently, which obstructs the view. Additionally, the dining service and quality could be improved.

A very ordinary hotel, but its great advantage is that it's directly opposite Meili Snow Mountain, so you can see the 'Golden Mountain in the Sun' without even leaving the hotel.

Overall, my experience at Deqin Guan Jing Tian Tang Grand Hotel was good. The room was basic but clean. A thoughtful touch was the complimentary hot milk and snacks, which were great for a late-night bite. However, the breakfast selection was limited and the taste was quite ordinary, nothing special. It's worth noting that the room's diffused oxygen supply wasn't very effective, so it might not be enough for those sensitive to altitude sickness; you'd still need your own oxygen tank. On the plus side, the hotel's location offers convenient access to the snow-capped mountains, which is a definite advantage.
