Deqin Jiatai Hotel (Wenshang Wealth Plaza Branch)

The room size was just right, and parking right outside the door was very convenient. The young lady at the front desk was so welcoming and helpful, and the housekeeping staff were incredibly thorough. I accidentally left my pajamas, and the front desk called me to let me know, which I really appreciate!

After leaving Mangkang County in Tibet and entering Deqin County in Yunnan, it was snowing and raining all day today. Rocks rolled down the mountain and punctured our tire, so we had to stay in Deqin County for the night. We chose the Jiatai Hotel. The lady at the front desk upgraded us to a king-size room, and her service was excellent. She advised us to go see the sunrise over the Meili Snow Mountain from Feilai Temple in the morning before coming back for breakfast. The parking lot is huge and has many charging stations, and the view from the window is quite nice.

Facilities: The hotel parking lot is quite spacious. The hotel has two names, which is confusing. The in-room floor heating is a bit slow to warm up but works well once it does. There's no landline phone, which is inconvenient for contacting the front desk. Cleanliness: Clean and hygienic. Environment: It's located in the town center, making dining relatively convenient. Service: The front desk staff are enthusiastic and responsive to requests.

The hotel is located within a market, and I found it easily with navigation. Honestly, for a small county like this, the hotel is quite good, and the management is excellent. The front desk staff are very polite; they would always stand up and greet me when I entered or left, which is highly commendable! The only downside is that the hotel doesn't offer lunch or dinner service, and I couldn't find anywhere to eat after looking around outside. How can Deqin be like this?
