Yushan YUSA Yubeng Snow View Hotel

Service: Upon arrival, we were upgraded to the top-tier LOFT room type – the owner certainly knows how to run a business! During our stay, we enjoyed free custom-ordered coffee at the bar, and when I caught a cold, cold medicine was delivered to my room. Before checking out, we even received snacks to feed squirrels, glucose supplements, and sports drinks. Location: The hotel originally offered spectacular views, but unfortunately, another hotel is under construction directly in front, turning it into a building site. This affected the viewing experience from the lower floors. Facilities: Smart bathroom, Marshall speaker, remote-controlled skylight (only discovered the remote on the vanity just before leaving), bathtub with disposable bath bags and bath bombs. The room also featured panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows and a minimalist, artistic decor.

This guesthouse is perfectly located, just a two-minute walk into Lower Yubeng Village. It's super convenient for dining and everything else. The service is excellent; the staff are all very nice. They even provide foot-soaking tubs with herbal packs, a massage gun, and a shoe dryer, which was an absolute lifesaver for us after getting caught in the rain and being exhausted from the hike into the village!

Service: I give this hotel full marks for its service. The welcome drinks, foot soaking tubs, take-away goodie bags, and laundry/drying services were all excellent and comprehensive. Environment: The hotel's location is also great. We stayed in a first-floor room with a hammock and a view. The room was very spacious, and the view was perfectly positioned with large windows. I had a very comfortable stay. If any friends come to Yubeng for hiking, I would highly recommend this hotel.

Everything about our stay was perfect! We got a complimentary upgrade to a family room directly facing Shennv Peak, and the views were incredible. But seriously, the absolute best part was having a washer, dryer, AND a humidifier! That humidifier was a lifesaver! The next night, I stayed at the Youle Hotel in Upper Yubeng for 1300 a night, and they didn't have a humidifier. My friend and I couldn't sleep because our throats hurt so much from the dry air, and we both woke up with nosebleeds the next morning. With floor heating, a humidifier is truly essential! The breakfast was delicious, and the service was excellent. We were offered drinks upon arrival, and they even prepared essential energy supplements (like Snickers, Pocari Sweat, and glucose) for our hike, tailored to the number of people in our group. Honestly, the value for money here was exceptional. I deeply regretted choosing a more expensive place in Upper Yubeng the next day. Every moment I was there, I found myself regretting my decision and longing for Yushan in Lower Yubeng. It had great service, great quality, excellent hygiene, and a wonderful environment. I should have just stayed at Yushan the whole time. You can take a pickup truck up to Upper Yubeng for the Ice Lake hike for only 120 per person round trip, or 240 for two. Why stay in Upper Yubeng where accommodation is twice as expensive when you can get so much more at a guesthouse in Lower Yubeng?

Upon arrival, I was immediately upgraded to a better room. After a hike, they promptly helped me with my laundry and even provided a foot bath. The service was top-notch, and I felt refreshed and ready to go the next day. The breakfast was also excellent!

I chose this hotel for my hike to Yubeng. The room was very clean, and the breakfast was delicious – especially the local chicken rice noodles and iced Americano. At night, you can stargaze, and in the morning, you get a beautiful view of the snow-capped mountains. Definitely worth the price!

After a long day, we walked in and they proactively upgraded our room. The afternoon tea and coffee were surprisingly good. The room had an open view outside the window and was very clean. The toiletries were all 'A' brand, so it's a bit hard to get into the village, just bring your own skincare products. I brought my own sanitary pads but didn't bring enough, and the hotel staff (young ladies) kindly provided liquid sanitary pads, which was incredibly thoughtful! After walking for 5 hours with no restroom access, those liquid sanitary pads were an absolute lifesaver!!! The breakfast was delicious and the coffee was great. The two lovely ladies and one handsome gentleman provided excellent service. I will recommend this place to all my friends.

A truly satisfying experience! The hotel facilities and service far exceeded my expectations. The two ladies at the front desk were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The hotel's viewing platform offers a fantastic vista, and the breakfast each morning was excellent. It was a very pleasant stay, and I'll definitely be back.

Extremely satisfied with this experience! You get what you pay for, and I honestly think this was the smartest choice throughout my entire Yunnan trip. Trekking in Yubeng is really tiring, so a comfortable, clean hotel with excellent service like this was exactly what we needed. They even had a rich breakfast every morning, and they washed our dirty hiking clothes daily. Next time I come to Yubeng, I will definitely stay here again!
