"The best thing about the hotel was that it was reasonably priced. The doorman was very nice and friendly. Receptionists were generally friendly, but the female sometimes had a little attitude. I would not book in this location again. This hotel in particular is off a narrow street that is not accessible by car so you have to walk a few minutes to the intersection or 10 minutes to a major intersection because the nearby street is VERY congested all the time. This area is also very densely populated and taxi's take forever to arrive and exit The hotel was not the cleanest. I was not expecting much, but there were a few ants and flying insects in the room. There were stains on the sheets and towels. I stayed for multiple days and I didn't receive room service once. They did call and ask me once if I wanted it, but that day I had declined. The shower water was not hot (but acceptable warm if turned all the way hot) during the daytime. Only during the evening was the water scalding hot. The shower tile was not angled deep enough or the drain was clogged and there was always about 3-5cm of water pooled at the bottom. The sink was outside in view of the room which was fine, but the faucet is over 40 inches above the basin which caused the water to splash out a lot. The breakfast was ok. The presentation and color was great, but the flavor was lacking."

"It's a good hotel in a very good location. The front desk staff are very helpful especially Mr Aryan who is very helpful and friendly. The restaurant is average and breakfast is also average. The staff of the restaurant needs some extra training for services and dealing with guests. The new outside cook who makes all the omelettes and all needs some extra training as well. I have to call the main chef again to make an omelette for me because the first one was raw and tasteless. Overall stay was average this time as I am a frequent visitor of this hotel."

"What an amazing experience this hotel is, and it is an experience in every sense of the word. Attention to detail drives everything here from the manager, who personally welcomed me, down to the trainee who asked if I need an evening ‘turn down’ of my room. Nothing is too much trouble. The colonial era architecture and decor is beautiful in this hotel that is 123 years old, but nothing is in any way tired. The staff are awesome and the food is excellent. My room was simply the best I’ve ever stayed in."

"It was a bit noisy, but I'd attribute that more to the hotel's location, or perhaps just the general urban environment in India, rather than the hotel itself. Things might have been different had I been given a room on the quieter, inner side instead of facing the road. The service was excellent, and the staff were incredibly friendly. For this price point, the level of service was truly exceptional. Overall, despite the noise, I was completely satisfied!"

"Conveniently located less than a 10-minute walk from New Delhi Station. The front desk service was excellent. The bellboys were also polite. The room was fully equipped with a refrigerator, hair dryer, towels, and other amenities. There was a 24-hour food cafe next to the front desk. I ate breakfast there. Breakfast started at 8:00, which was a bit late, but that's understandable. I don't know about other hotels, but I thought this was one of the higher-quality hotels in India."

"Wonderful hotel in the middle of the city of New Delhi. Location is great, clean and safe area with lots of trees around. 10-15 minutes walk to local markets. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is very good, many choices, western and Asian food. Highly recommended. 🙏🙏"
