We stayed in Hyatt Regency Dehradun for 7 nights with family, upgraded our stay to Regency suite which was well worth it. The room has glass all around and gave us amazing views of the mountains. Driver Sohan picked us up from the airport, his driving skills are commendable on the windy roads and he drove us very safe. Jamal checked us in and gave us a quick overview of the hotel and amenities. We booked all our tours via Hyatt experience desk, special call out to RJ and Rakesh they have been very reachable, prompt and extremely accommodative of our travel needs. I would highly recommend to book all tours via Hyatt to avoid the hassle of booking yourself and dealing with unknowns. Breakfast had lot of choices and especially my family loved the parthas, great variety and choices for young and elderly which was perfect for my needs. We had club access and the evening snacks and drinks were great too. Overall we were very satisfied with the quality and variety of food offered. We visited Beyul club couple of nights and they had a great DJ. Suhana was our waitress and she was very attentive and did a great job serving us (don't forget to try the momos, they are amazing). My family loved the evening activities and Aarati, the hotel staff worked very hard every single day to make it so memorable (Baltej has a great singing voice, you should explore that career my friend). We used Camp Hyatt, my son enjoyed Table tennis, carrom board and other activities offered. Also utilized the pool, in the pictures it looks big but in fact it's a tiny one and not that deep. Perfect for kids but not for lap swimming, the views behind the pool are very pretty though. Now about some minor discomforts: This property is located 1.5 hrs from the airport and in a secluded area. We really enjoyed the nature but also changeling to get transportation in and out. There is no uber available and have to completely rely on hotel transportation. The hotel transportation can get expensive if you have to use it for every day needs. Camp hyatt paid activities are ridiculous, Eg: Arrow shooting is 500 INR + taxes for 6 shots.. in my opinion they should be free. Overall our stay was amazing and i will highly recommend this place for families and couples. We really enjoyed our stay and thank you Hyatt for making our trip memorable.
