Premier Inn Nottingham North (Daybrook)

clean and tidy, but a bit pricey for just simply a bed overnight

Not the best experience Asked for quiet room. Allocated ground floor rear of hotel. View of litter, dark and the sounds of wild wilder beast every time the guest in the room above moved. Fire alarm went off. I left my room. To see all guests continuing to eat breakfast and staff carrying on with duties. No reassuring explanation. I had to ask !!”it’s always hair straighteners”. I wanted to reply one day it may not be !!!!!! Cleaning not up to standard. Many areas missed. Grubby shared bathroom soap dispensers. Dirty sink. Including a huge long hair. Over powering smell of needing to air the room with good old fashioned fresh air Would Lenny Henry stay here? I won’t!

We have stayed at this Premier Inn before and have always found the staff warm, welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast good value and quality. Plenty of parking available.

The staff were really friendly and helpful and went beyond to make everything as you could want it. The food was good and again the staff there were awesome, catering for all your needs. The only let down was the no aircon to cool the rooms down and you could only open the window a little and fans made a noise.

We’ve stayed here several times to visit friends & this was by far the best stay we have had to date. It is always comfortable but in the past the heat in the room has been unbearable, however now they have new fans which REALLY made a difference! The cleanliness could be better (bathroom plugs had hair in) and under the bed had a couple of old fans and a bag but overall that didn’t matter. We all slept well and breakfast was delightful.

My name is Sam im currently in a situation where I have to I've in the Premier Inn Hotel in daybrook,Nottingham until I find a council accommodation I have been. Here for 3 days now and I have been to many hotels around the UK and I can honestly say I have never been welcomed where I feel like I'm extremely welcome when i got here the room I was allocated was at the back where I could hear rhe hustle and bustle from the road so they kindly moved me to a different room witch I'm comfortable the staff at the front desk especially made me feel welcome by simply just remembering my name but I want to give an extra shout out to Alison the breakfast staff for the perfect cooked breakfast and the offer of added extra afterwards we had a chat and she's very friendly 😀 😊 ❤️ thank-you for everyone here that's made me feel comfortable and secure in one of the toughest time of my life

The lady when we checked in was lovely. However, when we got into our room it was ridiculously hot. We had a fan as there's no air conditioning in the hotel. However, it was just a cheap fan that did nothing. No ventilation in the room at all. We didn't sleep for both nights. Would have been a perfect if the hotel had proper ventilation, a better fan or air con.

Do not stay here in the summer! At other times of year this hotel would have been good value for money with friendly staff and perfectly adequate for an overnight stay. Unfortunately i had not checked if the hotel had air con before staying and our room did not go below 29degrees (even when outside was much cooler than that at night) the whole stay as you couldn’t open windows more than an inch either! this meant we had virtually no sleep the whole night!

Sharnie on the front desk helped us when our room did not have a proper working television and the room was too warm even with the fan on, she was able to move us into a different room which was cooler and with a working TV. This is very much appreciated and she was happy to help with anything else we asked.
