WoodSpring Suites Davenport FL

Staff members we interacted with were all awesome! Extremely helpful, understanding folks who were willing to work with us about a room upgrade snafu that was totally MY fault. Check-in/out was beyond simple. Rooms were very clean, with the exception of one tiny 'baby' roach found dead under the A/C unit of our first room, but at least that says pest control is done. Better to be seen dead than alive😌 My one complaint is probably the Wi-Fi. It's free for the 1st device (at light browsing speeds), but if you need anything speedier, expect to pay for it. We had a total of 4 devices and ended up coming out of pocket for the unlimited package to accommodate simultaneous HD streaming and mobile gaming. At one point, had to call Wi-Fi tech support and they answered at 1:30a local time, fixed the issue, and even made good on the courtesy follow-up call. Well done! Didn't get around to using the laundry facilities, so can't speak to that amenity, but we were so impressed with our stay, we'll definitely be returning.

Don’t let the picture of this suite trick you! Overall the suite itself is fairly new, but the disappointing issues was on the following: there’s no door knob for the restroom door to shut the door we were told that WiFi was only for 1 device, we had to pay additional $10 WiFi service. It was noted from ******* that it was free WiFi but didn’t specifically in detail that it was for only 1 device the walls of the room & ceiling are thin as a cardboard that anything can be heard. The room from above us kept on pounding on their floor after midnight to 3am. Then rooms on both sides were also pounding their beds and tapping on the walls in the middle of the night the only one elevator for the suite was out of order so we had to use the creepy stairs going up for 3rd floor Also they charge for everything just like the WiFi, changing out their towels (which I didn’t use), hair dryer and pots and pan also a fee. Housekeeping is every 14 days, which we didn’t qualified for that because we were there only for 10 nights We came back one night late from Disney and luckily we find 1 last parking There are long term residents that also living in the suites At least there’s no bed bugs or other crawling creatures seen in our room during our stay We didn’t want to report because we were just there for our Orlando/Disney trip to shower and stay for night. Overall, I definitely will NOT return to this or any WoodSpring suite after this horrible experience.

I did not like the fact that there was no coffee pot in the room. And for everything extra you had to pay more for. But we stayed one night so for the price it was ok.

Long term rental place.... Cockroaches found in multiple places. .... Noisy... Just felt uncomfortable... We left a day early.... Not a hotel in my opinion

Extra charge for more towels or linens. It’s a hotel. It should be complimentary for guests who are staying less than a week. I stayed for two nights. No switch for fan in bathroom, didn’t even turn on with the one light switch. No continental breakfast. Floors were sticky and made my feet dirty from just walking to the door to the bed. Wifi was free for one device then you had to pay for extra but we couldn’t even connect. No free breakfast. Have to take your own trash out. Housekeeping only comes after day 14. That’s two weeks…

I reserved two rooms for a 2 night stay. Both rooms we ok at best. At no time while I booked did it say that this was an extended stay type of hotel. Sheets on the beds were clean for the most part but room one had an awful oder and when asked to have management do something they asked what did I want them to do? They came up and sprayed air freshener. Didn’t help. The Oder was so bad I had to open the window and shut the ac off because they claimed that it was the ac unit causing the smell. Room #2 had roaches crawling across the bathroom counter. I felt so bad for my family! Ruined the first part of our trip. Still cannot get the Oder out of my nose! Stay clear of this place unless you like roaches.

As soon as I walked in the room I saw 5 roaches. Then we had to pay for wifi, extra towels, and room service was every 14 days explains why there roaches. Never again.

We drove all the way from Jacksonville, Florida and the WoodSprings did not let us know that the elevator was not working and that it has been down for more than two days. And the sad thing is they expected a person with 7 Herniated disc to use the stairs to the third floor. I think they should give us a heads up.

Elevator was broken and had to take my luggage all they to the 4th floor through the stairs and that was very frustrating... Also personnel in front desk was not too cordial and room doesn't include pods, pans and kitchen utensils so what's the purpose of having a kitchen. Other than that rooms are comfortable, hotel is practically new and fairly clean.
