Pingyun Bieyuan (Ancient City Wall Store)

This was the most satisfying stay I've had in Datong. The room was comfortable, spacious, and clean. The staff were incredibly attentive, and you could even enjoy breakfast in the large courtyard. The breakfast itself was exquisite and delicious. It's also super convenient, as you can walk to all the attractions. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Datong.

Datong Ancient City Small Garden B&B offers a delightful stay with its elegant waterscape. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the service was warm and attentive. We had a minor issue with our room, but the owner graciously upgraded us to a family room. The breakfast selection was also quite unique and flavorful.

Had a really comfortable stay. The B&B is thoughtfully designed and well-equipped. Even in early April, the underfloor heating was still on, making it very warm. Its location within the ancient town made getting around super convenient. The car rental service they offer was also great, making our outings hassle-free.

Datong, the ancient city of Shanxi, welcomed me for three days out of my eight-day journey through the province. From the airport pickup and morning meals to the comfortable accommodation and car rentals, the hotel truly embodied the warmth and sense of belonging captured by the phrase 'Datong under heaven, one harmonious family.' The owner personally picked me up, and she was wonderful—elegant, cheerful, and incredibly welcoming. The room she arranged was clean, tidy, bright, and peaceful, making for a truly comfortable and relaxing stay. The breakfast options were perfect for a Cantonese palate, and they even had coffee available, which was a thoughtful touch.

This B&B is located right in the heart of the ancient city, making it super convenient for getting around. The facilities are great, and it's really clean. The service is also very attentive – definitely recommended! The breakfast is healthy and delicious, and the guesthouse itself has a comfortable atmosphere with a distinctive local charm.

Xiaohaha: The room was absolutely fantastic! Super clean and the facilities were really stylish. The courtyard was incredibly beautiful. Breakfast was thoughtful and healthy. We could just wander back from the old town. Definitely recommend! I'm not big on taking photos, so I only have pictures of the breakfast. It was so lovely to enjoy breakfast facing the forest and the little fish in the pond!
