The front desk service was okay, but the overall experience was very disappointing. The first room assigned hadn't been cleaned, and the second, adjacent room was incredibly noisy. The cleaning staff had a bad attitude, rushing us to check out by around 10 AM on the second day. The hotel's surroundings are unpleasant, and the elevators and hallways are dirty.

While IHG usually maintains a high standard, my recent stay at this Crowne Plaza was a major disappointment. From the moment I arrived, it felt more like a budget 2-star property than a premium hotel. The cleanliness was unacceptable; the floors were never vacuumed, and the furniture—including the sofa and doors—was visibly stained. Maintenance is also a concern, as the elevators felt on the verge of breaking down. Furthermore, the parking garage is used by neighboring office workers up to the 7th floor, leading to massive queues for the four lifts. As a paying guest, I felt like a second-class priority. The room amenities were equally poor, with a shower so weak it would take an hour just to fill a bucket. Between the shabby room condition and the mediocre breakfast, I can safely say I won’t be returning. I doubt the people working there even have any sense of enthusiasm or attitude to work there for service. They are in the wrong place and wrong line. They are just so lazy and never providing a solution. In order for yourself to not feel angry or irritated, just say a forced "thank you" and move on. And as it always follow from them like robots, "you are welcome". To be honest, NO! We are not welcomed, that is so fake.

The hotel’s prime location facilitates convenient access to historical landmarks, tourist attractions, and the Dart terminal. The room is clean and offers a comfortable bed, with the exception of insect bites on my daughter’s bed. Regrettably, the shower room ceiling is unfortunately nearly half covered in mold. The breakfast selection is limited and straightforward. A gratuity was added to our complimentary breakfast buffet. Furthermore, the service was unsatisfactory. During our three-night stay, towels were overlooked, and one day, Housekeeping neglected to make the bed.

I've been coming here 6 years now and I think this will be my last visit. Front desk staff (Helen? And Avery) were very sweet and hospitable, however, the hotel appears short staffed on housekeepers. Rooms were not available for many customers waiting in the lobby as they were still being cleaned at 430pm (check in is 3pm) and customers complained loudly. After settling in for the night, I noticed black spots on the bathroom ceiling that appeared to be mold. The toilet took two flushes for a "#1" and more for a "#2". The motor court at the hotel entrance could only comfortably fit 2 cars as there was a police patrol car and community outreach vehicle occupying the remaining space, so cars were either trapped and waiting for others to depart before they could leave or back out awkwardly onto the street. The surrounding area appeared generally dirty and unsafe with lots of homeless roaming around. One was naked about a block west. After returning to my room after a long absence, I noticed my used towels (which were extremely rough textured) were removed but none were replaced. Though both of my beds were slept in, only one was made. The room temp was adjusted down to 63 for some reason. I don't understand why they bothered to enter. Nothing appeared cleaned or replaced. The evening front desk person seemed equally confused and provided BS excuses. But he mentioned they had ran out of towels earlier and I would have to come down for new ones. The parking garage is bizarre and narrow, badly in need of fresh paint, and poorly lit on most floors. The elevators routinely opened on floors where no one was waiting to board and the internal buttons weren't pressed for.

Everything was decent: the bed, bathroom facilities, and breakfast. It's about a 10-minute walk from the train station, which is directly connected to the airport. For 15,000 yen a night, I'd say it's good value. It's not the hotel's fault, but the surrounding area isn't very safe, so I recommend avoiding going out at night.

Positives- Location was easy to get to. The reception has nice cookies which I enjoyed. Negatives- I booked a king size bedroom, but was put in a double queen bed and when I tried to call the reception, the phone did not work. I had to call them on my mobile and then they told me to come get the new key without considering my luggage. It did not sit right with me that you have to pay a deposit for every single night you stay. Did not make sense. Breakfast was about $18 and was not worth it at all. You are better off ordering food outside. The bedroom did not have an iron also.
