Holiday Inn Express Hotels in Dallas

Everything was great, the service and amenities. Very courteous to everyone and a lot of hospitality given here and there. The elevator shaky at times other than thought the place was pretty solid. Food wasn’t offered due to COVID but the food in the city is amazing and worth eating I’d recommend.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites North Dallas at Preston from February 18-20, 2022; Confirmation #24259998. We were in Dallas for our daughter’s graduation from Western Governors University. When we made the reservation, NO mention was made that the hotel was going through a major, MAJOR renovation. Luckily, my profile indicates we prefer a top-floor room, and we were placed on the fourth floor. My daughter and her family had a room on the second floor. The fourth floor had been fully renovated. Contractors were hard at work on the third floor. The first and second floors were yet to be renovated. We were appalled at the conditions on the second floor when we visited our daughter’s room, but when we got to our room on the fourth floor, we were thrilled with the accommodations . . . or so we thought. The trouble began on the first night. At 2AM, the folks next door decided to host a party . . . a very loud party. After a few minutes, we called the front desk. Apparently, no one was stationed at the front desk, because it took forever for someone to answer. (Eventually, the phone stops ringing and you have to re-dial if you really want to speak to someone.) The front desk called up to the room next door, there was a lot of door-slamming and running down the hall, but eventually it was quiet. We got back to sleep. The next morning, I stopped at the front desk and asked if we could be moved. I was told there were no more rooms on the fourth floor like ours, but we could move to the second floor if we so desired. I was given the key to the second-floor room so I could check it out before making a decision. We went to the room and found it dingy and smelly. We decided to remain in the room upstairs. Upon returning the key to the front desk, I was told (by the very pleasant staff member) that the folks next door had been warned about the noise and told that the police would be called if they “did it again”. We went to sleep the second night hoping for the best. Again at 2AM the shouting began. The second night it sounded more like an argument than a party. I called the front desk . . . and called . . . and called. Finally, someone answered the phone! She said she had a note about the folks next door, and she would call the police. She did. Eventually, we got back to sleep. Then the police arrived. Aarrrggghhh! They were quite noisy as well. Upon checking out, I asked the still pleasant young lady at the front desk if we could be compensated in some way for the two miserable nights of sleep we got. She promised 15000 reward points which, she said, should be equivalent to a one-night stay at any IHG Hotel. I accepted her offer and was pleased with her concern. Upon arriving at home, I received a request from Jay Caiafa, Chief Operating Officer for The Americas region of IHG Hotels requesting that I complete a survey. I checked my rewards balance and discovered I had NOT been awarded the promised 15000 poin

We had a great stay. Staff was very helpful got us in early and gave us a late checkout. Room was very clean really liked the pillows. Has a full breakfast with lots of choices. Good size pool and hot tub

Breakfast 0k, the extra bed is not known, it is convenient for children, the hotel is conveniently located near Wal-Mart, the parking lot is free

The first staff member we had, Karen, was phenomenal. Greeted us and answered all questions we had and was super friendly. The second day we were there the lady was horrible. Put her hand in my face and cancelled my reservation. Showers for both rooms we had didn’t work.

I typically read reviews on TripAdvisor when planning travel but tend to not write so many, but I saw there hasn't been a review of this hotel since 2019 before the COVID pandemic, which had me hesitant to book here not knowing the current conditions, so I thought I'd add a few quick words to update this page. We checked in last night for the first of 4 nights here. The lobby was appealingly arranged with decorations up for Christmas. The hotel and room are clean and comfortable, seemingly having been renovated relatively recently. The location feels safe and has nearby restaurants, but is far enough from the highway to seem pretty quiet (at least in our room it is). The reception and breakfast staff have been friendly and welcoming, and Gerardo in the breakfast area had the buffet stocked and hot right up until breakfast finished at 9am (we came down to eat only about 10 minutes before 9am to grab a bite of what was left, and sometimes at other hotels we've seen food cold and/or depleted by that time, but that wasn't the case here--there were hot egg-white omelets, sausage links and cinnamon rolls waiting for us). We are IHG rewards members and have stayed at our fair share of Holiday Inn Express hotels across the country, and this one ranks among the better ones we've been to, especially considering that the price we booked the room at was comparatively quite reasonable. We chose here because it is not too far from the city center but also close to the wide selection of authentic Chinese restaurants in the Richardson and Plano suburbs which we are seeking out specifically, so the location is quite suitable for our purposes. We have 3 more nights to go but are quite pleased with everything so far, so I decided to go ahead and write this review before I forget to do so. I would recommend this Holiday Inn Express.

Located off I-635 with free parking and good access to downtown, Holiday Inn Express & Suites Dallas Northeast is a pleasant no-frills property benefited free Breakfast and Coffee all day, plus a well-equipped 24/7 gym. Clean rooms, good water pressure and strong WI-Fi come with a price under $100 per night for a King Bed and fold-out couch.

Booked a holiday with Love Holidays.. Company they use went bust. No communication about this. I discovered it myself and made contact.. They eventually sorted it. Stayed at Riviera Port El Kantaoui Tunisia... Absolutely horrendous exoerience love hidays new all about what was happening and they cluldnt care less.i made contact with them on day two. Room not cleaned. Bathroom. Toilet whole 7 nights not clraned.. .lack of toilet rolls.. Had to spend time looking.. for some and hording them i rn my room. No towels delived until early evening as they didn't have enough to go round. To wash and dry.them Drying myself in bed sheets thst clearly had not bern washed previously. Stale smell. Using tap water fo,r making ice and not using bottled water... Food repetative no variation.. un cooked chicken. Stale watter used to make coffee.. Rude staff.. Sickness and diahorrea on return ftom holiday.. Love holidays aware if all of this Perfectly healthy before i went to this hotel this and in so many words i was told by them NO TO BOTHER THEM AGAIN... No surprise they pulled out of ABTOL because of refunds. They seriously need to stop putting people in dirty hotels and listen to their customers when they GENUINELY complain.. Even with photos tvey were not interested.. Save your money and book with a reputable company. I wasnt the only one complaining while i was there so they know about this hotel. but choose to let my complaint . Fall. On deaf ears.... Not correct service.. Wont be booking again with them Easyjet Holidays is the way forward to excellent customer service and NOT Love holidsys

This hotel and staff was absolutely marvelous. The location from Love Field airport and the host center for my fraternity's national convention I attended was exactly what I needed regarding commute times. The maintenance of the hotel was spot on with fresh towels, linen, and ground keeping. Lastly, but most importantly, the hotel staff was the epitome of customer service. It all started with the general manager, Sheila. She was kind, informative, and a good soul overall. She helped when I had a situation, and everything turned out fine. Next, Michael at the front desk was awesome. He leaped into action when my key card was not working and I needed some items. Needless to say, I will be back whenever my travels bring me back to Dallas.
