The owner is super nice and enthusiastic! They even gave us a free tie-dye experience, which was really fun. We also received complimentary fresh flower cakes. They were incredibly helpful with our luggage, and the environment was lovely too.

The location is excellent, very close to Dali Ancient City, and it's convenient for taxis and dining. The room was a bit small. They offer a free tie-dye experience and complimentary afternoon tea, which was a refreshing treat after a hot day exploring the ancient city. The staff were very enthusiastic, helped with luggage, and were very friendly to children.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was very comfortable and had beautiful views to the garden, which was looking gorgeous during spring. The staff members were all very friendly, attentive and helpful. We enjoyed the tie-dye and tea experiences, and found its location very useful to get taxis/didis and walk to the ancient town area. The only downside was the fact that there are constructions happening in the building next door all day long (one morning it started as early as 7.15am). It stops early in the evening, but if you aren't an early riser and you like having a rest in the afternoon, I'd suggest contacting the hotel beforehand and ask if the constructions have finished. The hotel doesn't offer breakfast but there are places nearby for food (Chinese breakfast or more western food from 9am) or you can get it delivered to the hotel.

The room was fantastic! We checked in early and our reserved room wasn't ready, so the owner upgraded us to a better room type. We originally planned to stay in Dali for just one day, but ended up extending our stay by another day because the room was so great. They even included a tie-dye experience! The owners were incredibly welcoming and gave us tons of travel tips. It was also super convenient to get around. I really love this guesthouse.

The room was great, with a balcony and a lovely view. The owners were very kind, and the inn itself had a peaceful and elegant atmosphere; my mom and I really loved it. The small restaurant next to the inn was also excellent; it's run by an uncle, his daughter, and son-in-law. The food was delicious and hygienic. We had both breakfast and dinner there for two days straight, highly recommend! 👍 The tie-dye experience was also fantastic; the instructor was humorous and engaging. My mom especially loved the scarf she made.
