Almost forgot to write this review after getting swamped back home, but this hotel absolutely deserves a massive shout-out! The hotel is ideally located right by Erhai Lake; from the balcony, it truly feels like you're floating on the water. The location is absolutely stunning! Its design is modern, minimalist, yet elegantly stylish, creating a wonderfully comfortable and truly therapeutic ambiance. The service here is absolutely exceptional and incredibly thoughtful! Even before check-in, they proactively contacted us to arrange luggage pick-up, which is miles ahead of a typical family guesthouse. Our personal butler even drove an electric cart to pick up our luggage and delivered it straight to our room! The hotel also provides a delicious afternoon tea and a nourishing bedtime soup. Breakfast is lavish and features authentic Chinese and Western dishes – simply superb! They even offer a complimentary 30-minute travel photoshoot; the photographer was incredibly professional and patient, capturing stunning pictures of us. My only regret is that we only got to stay here for the last two days of our trip. The next time I come to Dali, I'll definitely book this hotel again for a full week of pure relaxation and rejuvenation!

The service was excellent, and the hotel breakfast was delicious. The scenery is truly beautiful, and our travel photographer took incredibly good pictures. This guesthouse comes highly recommended. The views are spectacular, and I will definitely be back, perhaps with friends next time!

The ambiance is fantastic, the location is excellent, and the service is absolutely superb! The views are also stunning. They offer daily in-room breakfast, afternoon tea, a complimentary sweet treat before bed, and even mosquito repellent service. The staff always greeted us with warm smiles, which brightened our mood every day! We will definitely be back.

Recommended by a friend, I checked into Shuanglang Liuyu*Baiju Hotel and truly experienced what 'a home away from home' feels like. The staff here, including the housekeeping team, are all incredibly friendly. They even set up a dedicated butler service chat group for each guest, attending to our daily needs with incredible attention to detail. Our room offered a direct view of Erhai Lake, and whether it was sunrise or sunset, the view was absolutely breathtaking. We could capture stunning photos without even stepping outside. They also offer excellent travel photography services here. If you have the chance to visit, I highly recommend photographer Huanhuan – she's both patient and highly skilled, and will certainly enhance your travel experience!

The homestay's location is perfect, with a serene and beautiful surrounding environment. Waking up in the morning, I could enjoy the beautiful scenery of Erhai Lake, and in the evening, watch the sunset as the clouds gracefully shifted, making me feel as though I was embraced by the heavens. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive, and the breakfast served was absolutely delicious, adding immense warmth and satisfaction to my journey.

Came to Dali alone to unwind, and I stayed at a hotel with truly outstanding service. **Ambiance:** The hotel is situated right by Erhai Lake. Waking up early and opening the window to a stunning view of the lake was incredibly refreshing and soothing for both body and mind. The hotel's overall ambiance is, simply put, wonderful – absolutely fantastic! **Service:** The hotel staff were all incredibly polite and attentive. They'd remind you to wear sunscreen and bring an umbrella when heading out, and upon returning, they'd warmly greet you with 'Welcome back!', truly making you feel right at home. Breakfast, afternoon tea, and even late-night snacks could all be delivered directly to the room – no need to go downstairs at all! Absolutely perfect for a lazy person like me! The travel photography service genuinely exceeded all expectations! I honestly didn't have high hopes, but they completely blew me away! The photographer was incredibly professional and fantastic at capturing the perfect mood and emotions. Don't worry about feeling awkward; everyone was super friendly and made me feel at ease. And the person handling post-production was also wonderful! All in all, choosing this hotel was absolutely the right decision! The service was simply impeccable!

Shuanglang boasts beautiful scenery. The guesthouse staff were incredibly attentive, the overall ambiance is wonderful, and the ocean views are absolutely stunning. The lovely photographer also took some truly amazing, picture-perfect shots. I'll definitely recommend this place to my friends for their next visit! I've already raved about it to so many people! They offer delicious breakfasts, delightful afternoon tea, and even thoughtful late-night dessert soups. I feel incredibly fortunate to have stayed here during my trip to Dali. With excellent service, beautiful room views, and convenient dining options, it truly provides everything you need for a perfect getaway.

Facilities: Very new, smart, and comprehensive. The amenity kit, mouthwash, and even the toothpaste and toothbrushes provided were of good quality. I often stay by Erhai Lake for a few days and have tried many hotels; this one is definitely among the better ones. The bedding, in particular, was the most comfortable I've slept on! Cleanliness: Spotlessly clean. Service: Absolutely fantastic! When I was leaving, one of the staff members insisted on waiting for my car to arrive and helped me load my luggage before he left. I was incredibly touched by his thoughtfulness, especially since I was traveling alone with my son! Environment: Very quiet. The balcony offers a lovely sea view, perfect for photos, and the sunshine was just right. It's absolutely ideal for someone like me who prefers to stay in the room rather than go out! Location: The location is also excellent – very close to the pier, and as soon as you step out of the alley, you're right in the middle of a lively area!

The location is simply unbeatable: right in the heart of Shuanglang Ancient Town's pedestrian street, making it incredibly easy and convenient to explore anywhere in the ancient town! The service was equally exceptional. I drove there myself, and our host was already waiting for me at the scenic area's parking lot, helping me find a parking spot and carrying my luggage. I especially loved the top-floor wooden attic room with its charming sloped ceiling, and particularly its own private small balcony. The balcony directly overlooks Erhai Lake, and the evening view from it was absolutely stunning, reminiscent of a traditional ink wash painting.

The hotel boasts a superb, genuinely waterfront location, set back from the ancient town's busy paths, ensuring an exceptionally quiet and peaceful stay. The common areas feature two tiered platforms, and I particularly loved the lower one. The downstairs lounge and the waterfront platform are incredibly photogenic, perfect for great photos. My only regret was that during our stay, some young children from other families were catching tiny fish and aquatic plants without supervision from their parents, making a lot of noise and leaving the common areas quite messy. This time, traveling with my child, we stayed in a room with two 1.2-meter wide beds. The room was still very spacious, with a thoughtful design that utilized space efficiently. I especially liked the fabric double sofa by the window, which was 1.5 meters wide and could comfortably serve as an extra bed. A minor design flaw was that the exhaust fan was located in the shower area rather than above the toilet. I really appreciated the decor at Baiju. It felt warm, simple, and rich in Naxi cultural characteristics, a refreshing change from the countless generic 'Instagrammable,' minimalist, or Mediterranean styles prevalent elsewhere. The hotel's appliances and toiletries were also of good quality. The service was exceptionally thoughtful. From setting up a WeChat group after confirming our itinerary and sending reminders in advance, to arranging our entry into the ancient town and having staff pick us up/drop us off at the parking lot while assisting with luggage, they were incredibly responsive to all requests and always replied promptly. Overall, it truly exceeded my expectations.

Choosing this guesthouse was an absolute stroke of genius! The location is simply superb – right on the waterfront with uninterrupted, breathtaking views of Erhai Lake, especially during sunset and the evening glow. I even took photos directly from the guesthouse's balcony! All nearby attractions are within easy walking distance, making sightseeing incredibly convenient. The room was spotless, and the in-room appliances were all very user-friendly. The owner was exceptionally welcoming and thoughtful, even sharing fantastic local travel tips. Before checking in, the staff created a dedicated service chat group. While you can't drive directly to the hotel, the staff came out to help us with our luggage. It's about a 7-8 minute walk from the main ancient town area to the hotel. The quaint, antique-style architecture and interiors have a wonderful charm and premium feel. The public areas on the ground floor and lower level are absolutely breathtaking! I highly recommend spending some time relaxing there. **Cleanliness:** When we first arrived, the room we initially booked wasn't quite ready. However, the staff were incredibly thoughtful. Luckily, a better sea view room was available that night, so they immediately upgraded us and helped move all our luggage. Seeing the beautiful view from our new room instantly lifted my spirits! **Service:** Food and drinks were available continuously from morning till night. Breakfast was served à la carte, and in the afternoon, there was afternoon tea with an endless supply of cakes and coffee. In the evening, they even offered red date and white fungus soup! We enjoyed afternoon tea with a stunning sea view and experienced the hotel's travel photography service with my best friend, which was absolutely fantastic! Our photographer was a woman, and she truly understood how to capture flattering angles for women. The photos turned out much more natural and ethereal than the 'master' travel photography offered by Club Med Lijiang.
