there were many holes on the floor, some of them were covered with plants. there was a strong smell of mold and dust. someone woke us up in the morning by trying to open the door. our room felt like a warehouse.

There is a distance to walk to the old town for elderly but it should be ok for youngsters. The stairs up to the room is a spiral type n it's narrow. For elderly, it will be difficult to carry the luggage up n down. Luckily, they helped us to bring up. As we had to leave early in the morning, we had to bring them down ourselves. Overall it's ok.

Excellent location in the old city. Close to everything but far from the noise. The rooms are beautiful and clean in a special Chinese style. The owner of the place and the employees are good people. Thanks for the great hospitality! We planned to stay one night and ended up staying for a whole week. Highly recommend!!

The location is fantastic — right in the centre of Old Town! The laoban and the staff there are all very friendly & hospitable. The room itself is average. The ventilation is poor and there is a damp/mould smell. The cleanliness could be improved.

It is a real lovely place, very good beds and the staff is very helpful. It’s a bit noisy so you need to be ok with that.

The room had a strong musty smell; the wood was moldy, it was dark, damp, and poorly ventilated, with no windows, no air conditioning, and poor ventilation. The stuffy air made it difficult to sleep and caused nightmares. 💭 The only advantage was its proximity to Dali Old Town.

No kidding, this hotel is fantastic! The owner is great, and the kitten is adorable. I especially loved it. Because of the kitten, I even stayed an extra night. I just didn't want to leave! At night, I left a tiny gap so that I could see the kitten lying on my bed when I woke up in the morning. It was so wonderful!

Never stayed in such an up room. The environment looks quiet, but even a severe cold can smell a burst of up, gloomy and humid, the toilet looks really dare not take a shower ... I was going to sleep all night, but in the middle of the night I was itchy and forced to run away overnight to change hotels.

The room's soundproofing is extremely poor. You can hear everything clearly: someone upstairs urinating, someone downstairs talking. The wooden door can't be locked from the inside. I had to use their own lock to hold it in place. Everything else is okay, but it still feels creepy. There's a small room on the far left of the room that I can't open; I don't know what it's for. Women traveling alone should be cautious about booking this room.

When you come to Dali Old Town, you have to do as the Romans do! 😄 The guesthouse I stayed at was truly rustic and charming, with a classic, old-fashioned feel. Almost everything was made of wood, even the keys were the traditional type – you had to carry them with you at all times, which was quite interesting. The guesthouse courtyard wasn't large, but it had a great atmosphere. The rooftop on the third floor was perfect for taking photos 📸, really photogenic! 👍 There were plenty of restaurants nearby, including a folk music bar, which was super convenient!
