Dali Fan Chen Sea View Resort Hotel(Erhai store)

This was my first time in Dali, and I was so pleasantly surprised to stay at such a comfortable and enjoyable hotel! Especially, our manager, Xiao Li, knew we weren't familiar with the area, so she even took us out to explore, showing us many scenic spots and places of interest. Plus, our butler, Xiao Ding, prepared a delicious and rich breakfast for us. Every little detail made us feel at ease. This is truly a healing guesthouse in Dali that's worth revisiting again and again.

Staying at this B&B was the biggest highlight of my trip to Dali! The ambiance, service, and food were all fantastic 😋 Especially the view from the room during sunset – absolutely stunning. They even gave us a free room upgrade! It was so lovely to just hang out in the room with friends in the evening, enjoying afternoon tea by the fire and soaking in the pool. We ended up spending the entire day at the hotel, no need to go out to the ancient city or anywhere else, it was just pure bliss 😎 The complimentary breakfast and dinner were delicious, and every staff member was incredibly welcoming. The hotel's photographer is also super talented (got all my photos taken again! 🐒). The hot tub was always at a constant temperature, and the staff even pre-filled it for us. The whole experience was incredibly enjoyable, and they even provide high-end toiletries.

An absolutely wonderful experience! This place is perfect for a couple's getaway. The environment, facilities, and service all deserve full marks. If I had to nitpick, I'd say the location is a bit secluded, but that's exactly why it's so quiet and ideal for a honeymoon. It really gives you that feeling of escaping the city hustle and bustle!

The room was beautiful, especially the balcony. The bedding was artfully arranged, and the dining room had an unbeatable view.

The room design was exceptional, very stylish and with great attention to detail, giving it a timeless feel. What really stood out was the quality of service and the warm gestures from all the staff; they made us feel right at home. It was a delightful first stop on our Yunnan trip. The dinner on the night we checked in was absolutely delicious! And their rose cakes – I wanted to ask where I could buy them! The seamless blend of sea and sky views was incredible, every photo taken turned out picturesque.

The hotel room was great, but what I really want to emphasize is that the service completely surpassed other guesthouses in Dali at the same price point. They were incredibly responsive to every request and helped me with so many things. I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit.

The scenery is beautiful, soaking in the hot spring while facing Erhai Lake is just too comfortable! All the hotel staff are also very friendly and responsive to any request. Looking forward to coming back again!

Facilities: I absolutely loved the bathroom amenities; they were all Hansgrohe, making the washroom experience incredibly comfortable, just like at home. Cleanliness: It was spotless. Even as someone who's a germaphobe, I was completely satisfied. Before you even used the bathtub, it was sealed with plastic wrap. Staff wore shoe covers when entering the room, and even the drinking cups were individually wrapped in paper, indicating they had been sterilized. So many thoughtful details! Ambiance: I really enjoyed the decor. It wasn't just superficially beautiful; it had a quality aesthetic that perfectly matched the design style. In the evening, grilling by the fire with a gentle breeze created such a unique and pleasant atmosphere. The toiletries were also from a relatively well-known niche brand, and I loved the scent, especially the Aesop hand soap. Service: Six-star rating! The service was incredibly attentive. Afternoon tea was held until the evening and even delivered to my room. The fruit was delicious and came pre-cut. Coffee and beverages were unlimited, and breakfast was also brought to the room, allowing us to enjoy a delicious meal while looking at Erhai Lake and breathing in the fresh air. The best part is that the chairs and table were also delivered along with the meal, which was very touching. This kind of meticulous service truly makes you feel at home. It was the only genuinely joyful experience I had in Dali. While the commercial streets felt very touristy and full of schemes, this guesthouse truly brings honor to Dali!

I don't think you'll regret staying at this hotel. The public areas and rooms offer incredible views. Whether it was the first evening, seeing a beam of light pierce through the clouds and illuminate the sea (Figure 7); the 'blue hour' as night fell, with twinkling lights on the opposite shore (Figure 6); or the next morning, as the clouds and mist cleared to reveal the majestic Cangshan mountains and a seamless blend of sea and sky (Figure 8) – we were deeply moved by it all. The hotel service, even for a mountainside property, is top-notch. Staff are responsive, patient, and clearly operate under a well-established service standard. From check-in to check-out, they create a complete service loop, making guests feel right at home. Tips: Lighting the fireplace and then taking a dip in the hot tub on the terrace is pure bliss – definitely something to experience during your stay. The hotel's afternoon tea features delicious flower cakes, and the breakfast rice noodles are excellent! The set menu is very generous and can be delivered to your room.
