Manyue Monet Garden Full Scenic Homestay (Dali Erhai)

Our room had a direct view of Erhai Lake, and there was an infinity pool plus a private hot spring. Soaking in the hot spring while watching the night view of Erhai Lake in the evening was absolutely divine for photos! I'm so good at picking places to stay; this is truly the ultimate vacation vibe. Seriously, this was amazing! The photos came out incredible.

The most honest review, starting with the downsides: Seriously, everyone was completely bewildered when they arrived at the attractions. The actual photos are attached; it's like this. It's incredibly noisy at night, especially since the street is right next to the stairs on the second floor, making it very quiet even at night. Earplugs were the only option (though the hotel kindly provided them). There's no sunset in this area; I initially thought I could see the sunset at Haidong, only to find it was directly opposite my room on the right! Pros: The host was very helpful, to be honest, the service was fine. The room itself was okay. But if you're really looking for a view, forget it. You can see Erhai Lake when you open the door, but there's a main road with parked cars, it's dusty, and noisy. This is the situation in the entire Haidong area, so definitely don't stay in this area! That's why all the hotels are like this!!

We arrived at the guesthouse quite late, and the manager was already waiting for us at the door. The room was spacious, with a great view of the sea, unobstructed, and the soundproofing was good. It's a highly recommended guesthouse. I heard the rice noodles for breakfast are delicious, but unfortunately we got up late and missed them, which was a bit of a shame. The rooftop garden overlooking Erhai Lake is very photogenic.
