This stay at Windmill Courtyard completely exceeded my expectations, it was fantastic! It was exactly the relaxed and comfortable vibe I was looking for. The front desk staff, Xiao Chao, even upgraded me to Room 8 on the second floor. Right next door was the Windmill Courtyard where Liu Yifei stayed, and I stayed in Li Xian (Xie Zhiyao)'s house. The courtyard offered unlimited freedom, and they even provided afternoon tea. The service was also superb; they helped me with my luggage for transfers, so thoughtful! Oh, and they even offered free airport pickup. Thumbs up! I'll definitely bring my child to stay here again next time. 👍🏻

There was a girl in the courtyard on her phone who was very fierce. The room had flying insects, it was stuffy, and the window couldn't be opened at all. There was also no service and no human touch.

It's been a while since our trip, and I'm finally getting around to writing about our stay at Xie Zhiyao's guesthouse! I'm not a celebrity fan, but ever since I watched the TV series 'Meet Yourself', I've had an endless longing for this place. Just seeing it brings me so much peace! This year, many of my family members unusually had time off, so we planned this big family trip to Yunnan. Since other family members weren't as interested in this specific place, our immediate family only booked one night, which also made it easier to coordinate with everyone else's itinerary. When we arrived at the high-speed rail station, there was a dedicated person to pick us up, and two young men helped us with our luggage when we got off the car. We didn't have to lift our bags at all – the service was excellent! The service experience after check-in was even more thoughtful. In the morning, we could hear delightful bird songs from our room's balcony, and Erhai Lake was visible from the other side of the window. We were able to enjoy Auntie's special rice noodles quite early in the morning. We were also welcome to visit the 'You Feng Courtyard' next door. The complimentary tea and the photos taken at the drama's iconic spots were very satisfying. What left the deepest impression was the complimentary afternoon tea in the courtyard; the two cakes were absolutely delicious, truly exceptional! We completely polished them off. Slowing down in the guesthouse and You Feng Courtyard truly gave us the illusion that we had been living there for a long time. We also took our children to experience tie-dye in the village. Our biggest regret throughout the whole process was that we only booked one night. When I booked, I had considered the children's preferences, as I was the one who wanted to come here the most, and my family came along for my sake. I was worried they wouldn't like the older-style houses, but to my surprise, after arriving, they asked, 'We love this place, can we stay a few more nights?' However, because our subsequent itinerary was with other family members, and they had also booked guesthouses for us further away, we really could only stay for one day. Life always has its regrets, but meeting such kind and lovely people, experiencing such a beautiful place with stunning scenery and unique characteristics in this courtyard, filled some of that regret. We've also promised the children that we will definitely come back and stay for more days in the future!

Excellent stay, a dream come true for fans! It was very quiet at night. We got a free upgrade to Room 8, and the staff even helped with pickup, drop-off, and luggage. The videographer and retoucher were very professional and helped us get some great shots.

Such a beautiful place! It totally exceeded my expectations. The service was excellent; they helped with my luggage both upon arrival and departure. They even provided props for photos, just like that popular spot 'Windy Place'! The afternoon tea was also fantastic. Highly recommend, I'll definitely stay here again.

This guesthouse, converted from a traditional Bai ethnic residence, is the same courtyard featured in the show 'Meet Yourself' (Xie Zhiyao's home). It's filled with lush greenery, making it incredibly photogenic, and offers a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle at night.

The service was great! The staff helped us carry our luggage from the parking lot to our room, which was a big help. They also arranged the complimentary afternoon tea and photo session for us, which was a nice touch. 👍 The rice noodles for breakfast were really tasty, too. However, the hygiene left something to be desired, as shown in the pictures. The power outlet was loose and couldn't charge anything, and the bathroom's access panel was poorly constructed with exposed TV wires, indicating rough workmanship. Also, the towels weren't soft or comfortable anymore; they've likely been washed too many times and need to be replaced.

Overall, it was great. The room had a window with a view of Erhai Lake, and from the balcony on the other side, you could see very bright stars at night. The butlers provided excellent service too. There were just occasional small debris falling from the ceiling, but it wasn't a major issue.

Dali, the place with wind – even though I'm past the age for rom-coms, the drama 'Meet Yourself' starring Xie Zhiyao and Xu Hongdou still made me long to visit. Following the show's footsteps, I came to 'You Feng Courtyard'! I was so grateful to be upgraded to Room 6, 'the current boyfriend's room' [a popular term for the male lead's character]. The photo ops, afternoon tea, and breakfast were all fantastic, and the customer service guys were absolutely superb!

Finally made it to the ' windy place' ❤️ It's definitely a must-visit for fans of the show! When I checked in, they offered a two-person afternoon tea, but since I was alone, they let me split it over two days to enjoy ☕️. The photographer's skills were amazing, and the photos turned out great – five stars to the little brother! 🌟 I also got a free upgrade to Room 6 on the second floor. From the balcony, you can even see Xu Hongdou's room next door. Watching 'Meet Yourself' in the room at night really set the mood! 🌟 Right across from the courtyard is the popular BA bakery, and there are plenty of street vendors selling food and drinks, though they close quite early at night. The breakfast was delicious, and they even gave me a souvenir when I checked out. I had a big suitcase, but the staff helped me carry it all the way to the taxi stand, which was super convenient. Overall, a fantastic stay! I'd love to come back with friends if I get the chance 🫶🏻

The guy who served us was great, and the room had a lot of character. The afternoon tea was delicious too! I'd definitely recommend this place to friends. The photographer for the travel shoot was excellent at guiding us. It was a pleasant stay and a great experience overall.

The place was quite clean, and basic amenities were all there. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a souvenir and fresh flowers as a 3.8 Women's Day special. A staff member helped me with my luggage, and the rice noodles made by the auntie in the morning were delicious. It was also very quiet at night.

I chose this place because it's known for being windy, which is perfect for scenic photos. The guesthouse isn't super convenient to get to, but they offer airport transfers, and the butler even helped with our luggage. The room wasn't huge, but the facilities were good and it was very clean. The butler's service was excellent; they promptly provided cold medicine when needed and even helped out in the middle of the night when my child had a nosebleed. Combined with the charm of the guesthouse itself, I was very satisfied with the entire trip! 👍
