Room 206 is big and faces Erhai Lake. Unfortunately it is blocked by the trees. Need to go up to terrace to see sunrise. A big comfortable bed and they provide real towel, not the disposable type. Bathroom is OK, except the toilet bowl leaks after flushing. Also it floods after bathing. Breakfast is simple without any hot drinks. Guest not allowed to bring breakfast to room. 2 washers on the top floor for guests use. Hotel does not have toilet for guests to use after check-out. Hotel did not suggest alternatives and just stated no public toilet nearby. Overall not value for money.

Everyone visiting Dali *has* to stay at this guesthouse! It's truly, truly, truly delightful. They have a rooftop balcony perfect for watching the sunrise; you can just sit there with someone and enjoy the slow rise of the sun. And Cola (the dog/cat?) is absolutely adorable! I almost didn't want to leave to sightsee, I just wanted to play with Cola in the courtyard. I'll definitely be back for a much longer stay next time.
