We selected the hotel for two nights due to its proximity to Tropical Island. The staff at check-in was not very friendly and spoke broken German. Our rooms were in the neighborhood and were, in the short words, already very in the years. This applies both to furniture, as well as gardens, tape, wallpapers. The bathroom was ok, but very small and everything was not very clean. The facilities in the breakfast rooms and outside on the small terrace were also colorful torn together and came into the years. The breakfast buffet was very overviewable and something always missed: slice, cutting etc. The cutting was partly warm and the eggs were so hard cooked that they were already blue. The small breads tasted as they were drie times baked. The orange juice was warmer cheaper from the tetrapack. We cannot recommend the hotel and would not book it again

GGuest UserIt's great that there is now the IntercityHotel next to the Steigenberger directly at the terminal 1/2 of the BER. It was opened only mid January 2023. The rooms are modern, practical and chic, like the most new or renovated Intercity Hotels. The staff is very friendly and engaged, some processes must certainly engage in a new team. You are just a few minutes walking distance from the terminal at the check-in, as well as at the airport train station with remote, regional and S-rail transport. Breakfast is available from 6:00 a.m., the light is available in the restaurant, there is a variety of breakfast offer. After my not so great stay in the nearby Steigenberger, the IntercityHotel Airport BER is recommended. I just hope guests will not confuse it too often with the IntercityHotel at the Schönefeld train station, the names of the two hotels is certainly not so great.

GGuest UserStayed here recently ahead of an early international flight. This was my second stay here and hopefully not the last. Not only is this hotel very convenient (it took me 3 minutes to get from the hotel to the check-in area), but also very relaxing and quite beautiful. I booked a regular room for 1 through Expedia (it was called “Superior Double Room” in the app), and ended up in one of the larger corner units with a view of the Departures. The room also came with some nice freebies: Vitamin water and coconut chips, both delicious. All in all had a great stay here ahead of a long flight; would highly recommend!

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is relatively close to the airport, but if you don't take a taxi, you still need to walk a long way (about 1 km) after taking the bus to get there. The taxi is about 10 euros. The attitude of the front desk is a bit strange... They don't answer the phone very often.

GGuest UserPerfectly good business hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable if not luxurious. Check-in and out were both quick and efficient, although the reception isn't large and so there could be a long queue at busy times. Breakfast was good - quite a lot of choice, and the bar/restaurant was pretty good for dinner. It did look really busy (too busy) at first glance, but there is a lot of room in the rear room. We nearly just walked away and tried somewhere else. Free Wifi was fast and reliable. Good location - yes I'd stay again if flying to Berlin Airport.

GGuest UserStayed here for an early morning flight. I had a rental car to drop off which was handy as the hotel is not in walking distance to the terminal. It took me about 7 minutes to drive there. I am told there is a shuttle bus service. The room was very clean and well sound proofed. Bathroom was small but adequate. I did not like the plastic bed sheet to protect the mattress. Check-in was easy and prepay, so no hassle in the morning. Did not have any food so can´t comment. Parked outside the hotel but possibly in a tow-away area. I was lucky though. The area has the feel of a construction site but this will change soon, I am sure. Would go again if the price was much lower than for the hotels directly at the terminal.

TTAI ANKinda far as an airport hotel. But the price is very nice and environment is good. My showroom runs out of shampoo and all the trash can has no plastic bags. The bed is good to sleep. Had a one short night stay. It was pleasant overall.

Ich bewerte hier jetzt nur das Restaurant. Da wird bei dessen Beschreibung auf der Homepage des Hotels im Internet viel zu dick aufgetragen. Es wird von einem feinen Speisetempel mit exzellenten kulinarischen Hochgenüssen,von einer Symphonie von Aromen gesprochen. Verschiedene Schnitzel mit Pommes, Currywurst mit Pommes, Würzfleisch, Bauernomelette, Königsberger Klopse und Sparerips bekomme ich in jedem guten Landgasthof und würde diese Gerichte nicht unbedingt unter die Kategorie kulinarische Hochgenüsse und Symphonie von Aromen einordnen. Es gab auch noch Zander und Rinderfilet. Die Portionen waren sehr groß. Auf eine entsprechende Bemerkung von mir, erhielt ich die Antwort, es wären Behälter zum Mitnehmen der Reste vorhanden. Und unter dem Begriff * feiner Speisetempel* stelle ich mir auch etwas anderes vor: es gibt nur einfache Holztische, auf denen das Besteck und die kleinen Papierservietten in Krügen auf den Tischen stehen. Zum Personal: Man wurde von einer Servicekraft direkt geduzt :*Habt Ihr schon etwas gefunden?* Wenn man noch einen Wunsch hatte, musste man einen auf den Tischen deponierten Rufknopf drücken und obwohl nicht so viel los war, kam trotzdem niemand. Man musste jedesmal drauf warten, dass das Personal andere Gäste bediente und dann signalisieren, dass man noch einen Wunsch hat. Eine der Servicekräfte kam zwischendurch wohl gerade aus der Raucherpause. Sie hat sehr stark nach Zigarettenrauch gerochen- für mich als eingefleischte Nichtraucherin ein absolutes NoGo. Da unser Essen ( Gulaschsuppe,Rinderfilet- gerade noch medium - und Bauernomelette) geschmeckt hat und die Preise für die Gerichte angemessen waren,gebe ich drei Punkte, aber nochmal werden wir das Restaurant nicht aufsuchen, denn unsere Sinne sind entgegen des Versprechens auf der Homepage mitnichten auf eine einzigartige Geschmacksreise mitgenommen worden
