Room reeked of cigarette smoke even though we booked a non-smoking room. (Apparently, visitors traveling with pets share the same rooms as smokers, which hotel does not disclose upfront). Room entrance door lock would not engage and could easily be pushed opened, faucet was leaky, pillows were as thin and comfortable as cardboard. ‘Hot’ breakfast was frozen breakfast sandwiches you could microwave or waffles. Pictures posted in ad are very deceiving and not in a good way! Save yourself some money and stay at a motel instead. It is really beyond me how others rated this hotel so highly!

Pros: quiet, 10 min walk from historic Dahlonega. Cons: Room 205 smelled like cigarettes, trashed was not empty when we got in the room, hair in the bathtub.

The Quality Inn was a nice place with comfortable beds. The people sharing the property the night we were there were noisy, inside and outside. We could hear our neighbor coughing all night in the adjoining room. Other than noise the stay was comfortable

The entire staff was very friendly and accommodating with all of our needs. The property is well maintained and very clean. Slept very well on the comfy beds and it's very quiet. Easy access and within walking distance to Dahlonega

The walls are fairly thin. We heard noises all night long. It is a pretty nice hotel with the exception of housekeeping. I open the ice bucket to find mold growing all over the inside. We also found mold on the bottom of the shower curtain. I took pictures and went to the front desk. He told me they would get a fresh clean bucket and shower curtain. They did neither. He sent someone that came up and cleaned the bucket. They NEVER did anything about the shower curtain. Overall, 3 star is a decent rating for that hotel. But there is NOT A CHANCE that we will ever stay there again.

We were very pleased to get such a clean and quiet hotel to spend one night in Dahlonega for the Christmas celebrations in the square. They staff was excellent and the breakfast was OK for a quick stop.
My husband’s only complaint was that the butter in the little containers were too cold and wouldn’t melt on the waffles he made. Thank you for a great little getaway.

The associate at the front office wasn’t organized. She gave us a room that wasn’t even ready. We had to wait in the cold for 20 mins. for our room. Now the cleaning staff was nice and left us extra towels and amenities. But when we got in the room it had a strange smell, we found former guests socks and makeup brushes on the floor. Other than that the room was suitable for our needs and the hotel was convenient to downtown.

Convenient and good price located only a couple of miles from downtown Dahlonega. This is an older hotel, but the room was extremely clean and everything worked. Breakfast was a good offering and the details the staff took to focus on cleanliness in the dining area were apparent. This seems like a property run by a family who cares about the guests.
