K-House vs Apartment

Home away home. K-House apartment at the My Khe Beach in Da Nang is an amazing place that I stayed at for the second time. You can call it a house, an apartment, or a hotel, but to me it was my second home. The location was just about a few minutes walk to the water, quiet and fresh air always breeze throughout. The building and decoration was very modern, Japanese or Swiss Bell style Excellent large room with full silverware and appliances that you can cook a meal with for the whole family. There was also a small pool right at the window; breakfast there was beautiful. It is very good quality and the food was unique. The chef was friendly with a nice smile to anyone. You can ask her to prepare for you a delicious seafood dinner party to host your friends at a lower cost compared to the restaurants nearby. The front staff were pleasant and efficient. They are always there for you, ensuring all your needs are met to your request. They have motorbike rentals at a reasonable price. The location is perfect, the price is affordable, it's clean and convenient, and the most important thing was the cleaning and friendly services. We like it and definitely will stay again soon. I would recommend to every one. maxdo.
Dolphin Hotel and Apartment

We loved our 3-week stay at the Dolphin Hotel. The hotel is immaculate in every way. Our apartment was spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen, large comfortable bed and excellent attractive bathroom. We were on the 7th floor corner room with a view of the beach across the road. The two girls who shared reception duties were such a help to us, introducing us to Grab (the Uber-like taxi service) and helping us get the actual taxis to and from where we wanted to go. We spent a lot of time on the loungers alongside the rooftop pool - that area, including the relaxing area (with sauna and shower) was also kept very clean and welcoming. The hotel was close to the beach and within walking distance but we, as older people, got a Grab to the beach every day to the areas where the loungers were. The Grab cost about $NZ2 and the loungers about the same. There was bar and food service to the loungers. The breakfast at the hotel included a different Vietnamese dish every morning, eggs, bacon, omelettes, fruit juice, fruit, toast, coffee and accompaniments. The only negative I can find with the breakfast was that the juice was a made up powdery drink which is disappointing when in a country with so many varieties of pure fruit juice. However, that was a small complaint and probably personal. The price of the accommodation was really reasonable and we thoroughly recommend this hotel. Our special thanks to the staff who were really so good.

Although the hotel is small but very cozy, there are waiters who can speak Chinese, and the hotel staff are also very warm and thoughtful. Very cost-effective hotel. Recommended accommodation in Da Nang
Dan Oasis Hotel and Apartment

I booked this room for the balcony and that did not disappoint. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable but I’m afraid that’s where it ends. The view was great but be warned the glazing is very thin and the road below very busy and noisy. The bathroom needed a proper clean especially the door, and when we pulled the curtains the walls behind were damp and peeling. The top floor restaurant / seating area was closed off and out of use. The most disappointing thing was the breakfast. Frankly we gave up and ate else where. You get one drink - juice or coffee but the coffee was made with camp liquid coffee, tepid water and condensed milk. No other milk was available. Staff were pleasant and I felt for the member of staff who had to explain if we wanted a second drink we would have to pay, luckily it was so bad we didn’t want any more. We made our own drinks in our room as they couldn’t even manage a cup of boiling water. I always carry my trusty travel kettle and decent coffee with us, which luckily comes with cups as they even try to charge you for the use of a cup and saucer in your room 🥴!! and don’t expect any complimentary coffee / tea sachets in your room or daily water. Extraordinary lack of hospitality !! Breakfast was extremely poor, concrete fried eggs made ages ago with heavily processed white sliced bread curling at the edges. No butter. No fruit - the only hotel we visited in all our time in Vietnam with no fruit at breakfast !! Frankly our previous hotel at a 1/3 of the price was far superior. I can’t give it less than 3 because as I say the bed was comfy, the room spacious and the view great.
