Hotels with Wi-Fi in Curral Velho

A lovely family holiday. We just spent a week at the hotel and have come back feeling very relaxed. The resort is huge, we were one room away from being the furthest room in the whole hotel which was fine for us but could be an issue for some. The is also no lift so do request a room on the ground floor nearer the main parts if you have mobility issues. Our room was slightly worn around the edges but the staff kept it wonderfully clean and our huge bed was beyond comfortable, our little one slept on the large sofa bed which was also very comfortable. As mentioned in other reviews there is a sewage smell around the toilets, as long as we kept the toilet door shut it wasn’t an issue. There were plenty of pools and sunbeds, although you did have to put your towels out on the way to breakfast to guarantee you could all sit together. Restaurants were super busy around 730 so try to go before or after. The beach was beautiful but there were red flags the whole time we were there so we weren’t allowed to swim. We did play in the waves, we stayed on the beach and let them splash up our legs. We saw some people just knocked over by them and struggle to get up so do be careful. Overall a lovely holiday.

First time visiting the RIU karamboa and what a experience it was. From checking in to leaveing the staff have been nothing but friendly, the cleaners, receptionists, bar staff, entertainers etc..... All very polite, happy going people. The food is amazing, such a variety aswell. Food I've never had and it was spot on. The pool bar staff are the most entertaining people you will ever meet, bar opens at 10:30am and from opening to close they are always smiling, laughing and singing to the music, they just make you feel so welcome. The hotel it self is 5* rated and we've had a 5*service throughout, amazing 10 days we've had and will definitely be returning when the new refurb has happened. Obrigada :)
