Overall, my experience at The Den hotel was fantastic, from start to finish. Stayed here for 3 weeks and would definitely look forward staying here again. This new(er) hotel offers pleasant modern rooms and bathrooms are spacious. The hotel staff was very kind and helpful to provide info about the city. The breakfast is top notch. Lots of great Dutch cheese options, fresh fruit and salads and even smoked salmon and apple cake was being offered. Service was excellent by very dedicated staff members who greet you each morning with a smile. The location of the hotel is very convenient, close to a super market Jumbo and some restaurants. Although the hotel doesn't offer any parking, there is ample public parking nearby at the Paleiskwartier with lots of EV charging stations. Also try out the roof bar on the 9th floor which offers a great view of the city Den Bosch. Even though the trains pass by on a regular basis, you barely hear them, so not an issue at all. The hotel offers direct access to the bridge that brings you to the other side of the train tracks. From there, it's a 15 min walk to reach the historical city center. Last but not least, do visit the restaurant on the top floor of the hotel if you have time for an exquisite tasting menu. The chef has worked in several top restaurants in far away countries such as Australia and China and brings the best of local and international cuisine. Truly a memorable experience and I hope you appreciate the unique flavours at the restaurant The Current. In short, do yourself a favor and book your next stay at The Den Hotel in Den Bosch. You won't regret it!

Nice hotel 200m from the centre: above a restaurant with terrace, centrally located in the busy outdoor neighborhood. Suites are accessible through a very steep, narrow rotation staircase. Rooms 40m2 were smaller than expected. Two separate beds. Two velux rooftops with a weared roller belt, a sliced light on the night box, a missing beer key to open the drinks from the minibar, a hearing room (gang, hall) street noise but everything is happy to be solved with ears. Friendly staff especially the guests. Good breakfast in beautiful room. And free parking (valet parking à 27,50€) The hotel would not have been booked if we had known in advance that the pal was in the busy outdoor neighborhood.

The hotel is located in the centre of the city, making it easy to discover this beautiful city. You can also lose your car in the parking garage opposite the hotel for a more price. The room was clean and spacious enough for two people. We experienced the bed and kiss as comfortable. Some of the no minpoints are: - The box had only a hang and no plates to put your folded clothing on. - The room had no balcony, only a window that could only open on the kissing stand - The view from the room was not great, we looked at the parking garage Despite these weaknesses, we have enjoyed our stay! The breakfast was extensive, there's some good things between them, everything was fresh and it looked pretty. I am also very pleased to say that the Commission has not been able to make a proposal for a directive on the protection of the environment in the Community. In general, this hotel is a recommendation if you look for a room near the city!

I stayed here with my wife and adult daughter for four nights. We found it very comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. The hotel is surrounded by woods and lakes. As well as dining in the hotel we tried several of the restaurants next door to the hotel and in Oisterwijk. There is plenty to see in the neighbourhood, such as Kasteel Nemelaer, where we enjoyed delicious hazelnut meringues or the Loonse and Drunense Duinen landscape, a large area of sand-dunes. The car park leaves a lot to be desired, but otherwise a most enjoyable break.

It is convenient to get to the hotel, the bus stop is not far away, near McDonald's. The room is large enough, cozy. The sleigh is clean. Breakfast until 10:30. I didn't like it on the first day, it was great on the second day. The staff is kind. Hotel recommended)

I booked this hotel again as we’ve liked it on previous trips for the Efteling. On this occasion we found the room to be very good with comfy beds, nice bedding, clean and stylish. What I would wish for at this price is some tea and coffee making facilities. It is ridiculous to have to go to the reception and buy coffee when you’ve paid quite a lot for the hotel. In the evening we ate in the hotel as a large group made up of 3 families. The food was excellent however when we came to pay we were very surprised that we could not split the bill. The bill was €200 so obviously no one wants to pay for all of that! We wanted to make one payment per family ie 3 payments to clear the bill. The staff member said we had to make only one payment in total because we had all sat together. She was a bit rude and we all found this very odd.

When staying at the hotel we couldn’t fault it. Children stay free if sharing a room, and we had booked to visit Efteling. We didn’t realise but our stay coincided with carnival, for this reason I think we were allocated a room at the back of the hotel (as I can imagine those front facing would be very noisy - there is a huge stage directly in front of the hotel at this time, as well as many food vans and outside bars etc - not that any of this worried us). So our room was on the 5th floor at the rear with a direct view of the multi story car park! (But we didn’t book for a view!). The room was well equipped with a comfy bed and a seperate shower and toilet. Everything was very clean. The only issue I would say regarding the rooms is that they were very dark so it was hard to see your items in the wardrobe. Not a big deal! The staff on reception were really helpful and chatty, and gave us lots of advice. It’s super easy to reach Efteling from here, we walked to the coach station (just by the train station) and there were regular buses. Again children travel free. You could walk to the station in about 10-15 mins. The shopping streets are very close to the hotel, and nice for a stroll - plenty of places to eat etc. we enjoyed backwerk bakery just a couple of shops down from the hotel, they did fresh smoothies and juices and lovely fresh sandwiches. Perfect for brunch/lunch. There is a Taco Bell next to the hotel! My son wanted to try it but we didn’t get chance! The issue for us came out check out, our flight wasn’t until the evening so we asked to use the secure luggage room for our case so we could enjoy our last day. We came back to the hotel to pick up our bag, and make our way to the airport. I was let in to the luggage room to get our case, but it had gone. The staff didn’t know what to do, apart from check and speak to other staff members. Eventually I asked to see the manager as we really needed to leave (fortunately we had been sensible and kept our passports and money etc on us). And I was asking for something in writing to say they had “lost” our case - as I didn’t feel comfortable just leaving with no proof (they also wanted to take the luggage receipts - I think because they wanted to figure out what had happened). The manager was “checking the CCTV” but upon our second request did come out and see us. She did apologise for the case going missing (after a long time!! More hearing about how strange this was?!?) and said if it “wasn’t found” they would replace it. At this point I was getting concerned about travelling home without any of our things, especially with my son, for example some warmer clothes, his switch!! I felt the customer service here was lacking, there was no gesture here - could they assist us getting to the airport for example - She did offer to go to the shop but by this point we were cutting it so fine to get to the airport / which we said to her! We have no time now! It was very disappointing a
