We stayed here for one night mid week in April. Pictures looked fantastic but did not live up to expectations Couldn’t use the key app as just wouldn’t accept password so at this point the staff were helpful and left us a key in a key box ready for arrival. We booked the most basic room as was just a stop over after a trade show at NEC. The room was modern and true to pictures but very compact. The only chair was one wooden painted kitchen chair placed under the wall mounted tv which if you sat on, you instantly banged your head on the TV. The bathroom, although modern, is very compact and the sink is so close to built in shower it only give half the width of the small shower as access which looked very tight Mirror on the single wardrobe was cracked at the bottom and we found hair on the bed We instantly new this was not the room for us and phoned the host to see if there was another room with some seating option We had to pay an additional £75 and then someone came with a new keycard for a room on the top floor and left us to it Walking up the two flights of stairs we found our room with much more room, a spacious bathroom and some armchairs. The furniture is all very basic and potentially mainly IKEA purchases so I would not describe it as luxury but it does the job The kitchen in this new room was huge for two people and you could never make use of all the cupboards. The crockery and cutlery was a bit hit and miss with just one teaspoon and everything else very minimal After a cuppa and sit down we headed out for dinner around 7pm to find the road outside closed for resurfacing between 8pm and 5am which made us worry about our night sleep ahead. As it turned out this was the least of our worries and although perhaps they could have warned people it wasn’t excessive disruption Returning from dinner around 9.30 we settled in after a long day at the NEC The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything word for word in the rooms beneath you and next to you We also had potentially the water tank above or behind us so every time anyone anywhere used water you heard it gush and then bang and tick away maybe refilling - not fun! The worst thing came when we were woken at 2.30am by a returning guest in the room next door who played loud music for hours. We finally gave up at 5am and decided to just drive home as clearly we weren’t getting any sleep We sent a message to the host explaining we were leaving at 5am and would expect some refund. 48 hours later we are still awaiting any response from this and this is why we are writing this to warn future guests of the noise disturbance even without a noisy neighbour Could be so much better and certainly wold not recommend or return

On the campus of Warwick University, the environment is okay, the rooms are not very new, but clean and sanitary, and the waiters are more enthusiastic. Breakfast is a medium-sized English breakfast. Go early and have fruit. The room comes with two small packets of cookies and various teabags. There is a living room on the first floor, where you can enjoy coffee and snacks for free!

The hotel is in a really good location and is clean! The room is a good size and has everything you need from tea and coffee an iron and a hair dryer. The staff at the front desk are very friendly. The only problem I had was that every where in the hotel was very hot the room does have air con tho so once your in there it’s ok. We would stay there again

One night stay in a superior premium room with queen bed. Great location just off motorway. Car parking free to hotel guests. Friendly and welcoming lady on reception. Room was clean and comfortable and slept really well with no noise disturbance at all. Had an evening meal and breakfast. Food was good and restaurant was clean and spacious. What really made our stay so remarkable was the fantastic staff. A very polite young man who goes by the name of “T” (he said his name was too long and difficult to remember) was working in both the bar and restaurant. Nothing was too much trouble for him, he was always smiling and he never stopped working. The lovely man in charge of the restaurant for the night was called Fadika. He was so professional and attentive. Again, nothing was too much trouble for him and he genuinely wanted guests to have the best experience possible. I would stay at this hotel again without hesitation. Excellent value for money and great service.

The two receptionist were very helpful and went above and beyond to assist us when we checked in at the Coventry - Mile lane CV1 2LN, on a rainy coronation day. The duo were exceptional. Unfortunately I misplaced their names, a lady and a man. Thank you for your kindness and prompt assistance! Also, the hotel was very neat and clean, the room smell nice and fresh, the bathroom was very clean with clean towels, soap and shampoo, and the bed was very comfortable. I had a pleasant stay, great value for money! Excellent!!

Located right in the middle of Warwick University campus this is part of a conference centre and this is the general feel of the establishment when you walk in. It is spacious and functional and the rooms are OK, think Travelodge meets Holiday Inn Express. I had an executive room, I think that means it's bigger than the standard rooms which I think is worth it as it didnt cost much more. The breakfast was very good however the coffee in urns was not pleasant. You just need to step out of the dining area where there is free coffee from machines which is much better. Staff throughout are the best feature. They do need to sort out the litter surrounding the building - there were plastic bottles scattered outside the entrance which were still there the next day. No reycling facilities anywhere either. But overall I would recommend.
