The hotel is very cost-effective! Near the Cotenou Airport, the location is very good. There is a big supermarket nearby. The high-quality daily necessities are very rich. The African handicrafts at the supermarket are very good.

I highly recommend that all Africans throughout the diaspora visit Benin Republic for historical purposes. When you plan your trip, you must stay at the Benin Royal Hotel. I will begin with the lovely people who work there. They are so kind and gracious. They make you feel like a special and honored guest. My husband and I visited and were treated like royalty by the front desk staff, the people who serve your food, the chef, the housekeeping staff, and the breakfast team. If you need anything, just ask for it. Remember that you are visiting a very hot climate, so things need frequent repair. Just bring it to the attention of the staff, and someone will ring your bell in moments to attend to the problem. The team wants to make sure you have a wonderful time. In fact, as we were checking out, the management noticed us struggling with our luggage, and dropped everything to help us down the stairs-she was dressed up for a function and he was wearing a suit-but they didn't hesitate! The place is so beautiful that during our week there, they hosted several meetings and conferences, a photo shoot, and a wedding. The location is nicely situated, and you can walk outside and get a taxi or a moped anywhere. The shuttle is complimentary, and so is the delicious, breakfast buffet. The outdoor restaurant has a beautiful view and wonderful, fresh food. The hotel can connect you with a driver-ask for Mr. Abou. Mr. Abou is a safe and effective driver, with a nice car that he keeps clean and has working a/c. Additionally, he is friendly and personable and has deep roots in the region. He knows his way around and knows the best places to see. To sum it up-come to Benin Republic and stay at the Benin Royal Hotel!

Mary House Guest House is a very excellent establishment. I had so much fun and comfort there with my friends. The staff are friendly and receptive, the rooms are absolutely neat and comfy, the environment also neat and homely. constant light and internet. I am definitely coming here again. Incompetent staff, one of them called my room 7am rudely said someone will be working next door and hung up the phone. They are not trained properly they do not know how to communicate with guests. I was woken up every morning at 7am by so much noise being made by staff. Oh! they double lock the front doors from the inside with keys and iron gate. If a fire starts every one inside will just die. Breafast was horrible everyday my eggs was always cold. My checkout was a nightmare. I was overcharged 40pds on my credit card my bank is now dealing with this. The place as a lot of poetrntial due to the location and cleaininess. The only person who knows what they are doing in the establishment is the cleaner.. It is not a cheap hotel but the service was very poor. Train your staff properly about how to communicate with guests and stop double locking front doors from the inside at night. I plan on staying at ibis hotel my next vist.

I returned again for a stay at Noah Garden on a return trip to Cotonou. I had a few days to relax before heading back to the US after 5 weeks in Coastal West Africa. Noah Garden has become a regular place to stay at some point during my visits to Benin. I will usually either start or end, or stay at both ends of my trips to West Africa. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The restaurant is very good with great service from the ladies at both breakfast and dinner.
