Stayed here at the end of February and had the best time. The staff all work very hard to ensure you have the best holiday possible. They are all very friendly and professional and I like that the management are visible as well as the staff which is very rarely the case. A lot of the staff have been there a number of years and make you feel like long lost family on your return visit which is a really nice touch. I'm quite a fussy eater but always managed to find a nice meal any night we went to in the buffet resturant. The new Italian resturant was nice, albeit a bit slow. On arrival we had a small issue with our room but it was dealt with efficiently and we moved to a lovely 10th floor room the next day. There was renovation work going on in the rooms below the spa/gym area when we were there but it didn't affect our stay, you could hear the noise when at the pool but the noise of the waterfall/drago bar music pretty much cancelled it out. Some of the corridor carpets need replaced, but i think there is a rolling project of works being carried out as last year we watched guys lay new tiles around one of the pools and the reception area was spruced up, so i'm sure that will be dealt with. It's a big hotel, open all year round so they need to do the work some time, it didnt spoil our holiday! We upgraded to all inclusive on arrival and I do think it was worth the money, even though we didn't stay in the hotel 24/7 as we like to go out and about, but the drinks are all good brands and the cocktails are nice; the only downside of that is if there are a lot of cocktails being ordered sometimes there is a bit of a wait to get served, that bothered some people, but being on holiday and chilling out we weren't bothered. All in, its a great hotel, which is spotlessly clean and in a great location right on the promenade. The staff are a credit to the hotel and really make the holiday special and the sunset views are spectacular. My only complaint was that we didnt book a longer stay. Looking forward to our next visit.
