Hotel Mirage

What a wonderful stay - great hotel in Cortina with an amazing staff - everyone that works at the hotel is friendly and helpful and they all go the extra mile. I booked a suite and it was a great room with a nice view the room was better than the pictures as it’s hard to take nice pictures in a mostly hardwood room. I arrived in a snow storm late and Frederico was able to navigate and pick me up and even help a guest get his car up the snowy driveway. We booked a half board which included our breakfast and our dinners and I’m so glad we did the dinners were 5 stars and we had a new menu every day. It was some of the best food I’ve had anywhere. Salvatore had an incredible staff and he was always friendly and in a great mood. A professional who is a master at what he does. We ate all of our meals at the hotel except for our lunches at the ski resort. Normally I don’t like eating at hotels and want to explore but this place was different. The hotel shuttle was very helpful and made our stay there easy as we skied every day and the drive was around 5 minutes. our skis and boots were stored in their locker area and it was very convenient. Will definitely recommend to friends.

Given the high price we paid for our stay, we were deeply disappointed with our experience at the Hotel Mirage. While clean, the hotel furnishing, decor and "spa" offerings were very tired and dated. The location is further outside of town than is described, and the "regular" shuttle is limited with no service for several hours in the afternoon and after 7pm. We have stayed at many hotels with fewer stars with much more personalized, inviting and warm atmospheres. Do not recommend.

Spent 5 days of skiing in Cortina. Our stay at Mirage was a very positive one - the staff was hospitable and attended to all our requests, and the food at the restaurant was very good. The hotel operates a free and efficient shuttle service to and from the town centre.

Heating systems need to be improved, staffs friendly and shuttle services is excellent, we will be backed during winter. Also, buffet breakfasts v good too. Thanks!

Came to Cortina Dampezzo to ski. The staff of the hotel was extremely nice and helpful !! It has an Internal parking next to the ski room. Sauna, Jacuzzi, smimming pool. All was perfect. Extremely reccomended stay. Rooms are made of wood, gives a nice vintage sensation.

Nice location to town, easy to drive in to the free parking. Breakfast was top notch. Rooms were big and comfortable. Easy to get to hiking.

We had an incredible stay at the Hotel Mirage in Cortina d'Ampezzo. Though it is outside of the center of town, we didn't mind it one bit because it came with absolutely stunning views that I highly preferred over the hustle & bustle of the city center. The drive to get there was easy and we were greeted with beautiful, bright, colorful flowers draping the entire facade. Another great highlight was the surprise 19:00 apertif that's complimentary to all guests. We had a choice between prosecco or a non-alcohol fruit drink (e.g. lemonade w/ mint) and small bites! Sipping casually and snacking before dinner while looking out at the mountains was pure relaxation and bliss! The parking is plentiful, and they have a private garage for you to park for ultimate comfort. The room we had was also extremely large, with more beautiful views from the balcony! We also enjoyed the scrambled eggs at breakfast, as they were real (not made from the powders) and were nice and runny. Across all the hotels we stayed at in the Dolomites, it also served the best coffee. Overall, the best part was the service staff. They were professionally dressed, spoke great English, were attentive to details, and always welcoming. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone! Thank you, Hotel Mirage team, for a wonderful stay!

My wife, 11 month child and myself stayed here during our visit to the Dolomites and were very satisfied. The hotel is in an excellent location, right outside Cortina so you don’t have to deal with the hustle and bustle of staying right in the city, which is much easier for heading to hiking excursions etc. The hotel is a little outdated but it more than makes up for it with the food and service which are top notch! Upon checking in they provided us with all the additional information (maps, etc) for our hikes which was a nice touch. Really enjoyed!

Would not come back Found the staff not welcoming. The room itself had an odor that we had to air out. The bathroom lights didn’t have covers. Rust stains on the bathtub. The shower handle sprayed out from the side. The indoor pool requires a hair cap for everyone. And will sell it to you for 3 euros. The jacuzzi is only available with a reservation and for 20 minutes. We were two physicians on a hiking trip. In bed by 10 each night. We don’t know Italian so watched shows on our laptop and not the tv. I did note the tv remote was taped together. After we left they CLAIMED WE BROKE THE TV and asked for a cc to charge us through the ********** portal that thankfully says do not share CC information. Avoid this hotel. The best part is we left a day early and already accepted a $330 loss on the last day.
