Hotel del Sol

Immediately upon arriving at this location I felt uneasy, nervous, afraid! There were men sitting in cars in the parking lot and others sitting on the stairs. All of them seemed to be watching me as I got in and got out of my car. It was a very uncomfortable experience. I told the young lady at the front desk (Ada) about my apprehensions. She was sympathetic and explained to me that she does think it’s fairly safe there but that there are cholo‘s a.k.a. Latino gang members who live on site. This was not the place for me to stay with my two small children. I had a 7 day reservation but only stayed one night (that was only because it was almost 9pm when I checked in, my boys and I were exhausted as we’d been on the road for several hours. I had a little difficulty canceling the reservation although the manager said I could. It took several hours and several calls to corporate/customer service for the cancellation to actually take place. Oh, and housekeeping came in and threw away some of my things as I was loading my vehicle..
Staybridge Suites Corona South

My Boyfriend and I had a staycation went glen ivy Staybridge is minutes away from glen ivy . Overall I feel satisfied with my stay some the furniture in our room was bit rundown especially the little sofa in the bedroom. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and was clean . I wish both bathrooms had shampoo and conditioner in it only one did , it was locked so we could take in the other restroom . Also I used the laundry room only one washer was available and it smelled, the other washers were I guess broken because they had no door on them . I wanted to use the pool but every day we were there it was occupied with a group of children. Staff was friendly. But I didn’t understand why they called my room to see if I was checking out it was only 8:00 am check out was at 11:00. I will probably not stay again .

Very clean and comfortable. The weight room and pool closed due to COVID, and so the 4 stars on Facilities. Otherwise, quite happy all around with my one night stay.
Welcome Inn Corona

The downtown area of Corona is in a good location, shopping and eating are very convenient! The hotel is an economical hotel, affordable, the room size is suitable, enough for 3 ~ 4 people to live, and the sanitary conditions are OK.
Ayres Hotel Corona East

The staff was friendly and helpful. The only downside to our trip were the strong sewage smell outside of the hotel, at the entrance. It was persistently present each time we accessed the building. Another smell on the second floor was as string but not offensive, like vinegar near rooms # 210-220. My daughter thought it smelled like a dentist’s office. Smells aside, the halls are brightly lighted and clean with inspirational quotes on each door. Continental breakfast was served daily and the pool was open, though we were too busy to enjoy it. He fitness room remained closed due to the pandemic. We would stay here again fir the convenience on/off the 91 freeway. The beds were not luxury but not terrible. They could be improved with a memory foam topper.
Residence Inn Corona Riverside
4.2/550 Reviews
I am a Lifetime Marriott member and I've stayed in Marriott's all over the world. The Residence Inn is not a ”full service” property. However, this RI is not up to par for some of the other properties in the same category. The personnel I encountered were all very kind and pleasant. But that's really the only compliment I can give (other than the GREAT water pressure). This Residence Inn has completely stopped their ”social hour” in the evening with any type of food/snacks/drinks during the week (what RI is associated with and has been for YEARS). They say it was Covid. But what about the popcorn in the basket? No more popcorn in the rooms and this was undoubtedly stopped due to the cost. How much can a bag of popcorn cost--especially when you stop the evening ”social hour”? They are really cutting back here and it shows. No laundry bag in the room, the dish soap has been so watered down that I don't even think it will get soapy. No extra paper towels below the sink--I ran out the 2nd day so they knew there were very few towels when they cleaned the room from the last guest. The carpets were very dirty. In the hall, stairs, lobby--I don't think any of the carpets have been vacuumed in weeks and it shows. The breakfast was one of the worst--especially for a RI. No fruit on the days I was there and the oatmeal looks like it was from last week. The ”scones” were so dry that it wasn't even worth the calories. I guess for a family feeding children, the waffle maker would be the winner here but for an adult, hard pass on the ”breakfast.” There was some yogurt and a few toppings to put on the yogurt. Some scrambled eggs and sausage. They did have hard boiled eggs too. This RI needs some serious TLC.
