My partner and I came on Sunday for the Sunday roast platter, which was lovely. We also had a calamari starter which was amazing- genuinely some of the best calamari I have had, I would put this on a plate though rather than a small bowl. The portion size was large, so a small plate would be better. The main roast was delicious, and a great size. We also had the sticky toffee pudding, which again was one of the best I have ever had. We LOVED the Oreos on the side, it was amazing. The wine was perfect. And the VIEW !! You won’t get a better view of St Michael’s Mount. The staff were really lovely too!

We called into the hotel without a reservation and were greeted with the warmest of welcomes. Our room was absolutely spotless and warm with spectacular views. Dinner in the evening was perfect, and a lot of fun. I have nothing negative to say. This place is a real gem staffed by good people who know what they're doing.

We had 5 beautiful days staying in the Penzer Point suite and were so impressed at how spacious and well-appointed it was. The photos don’t do it justice! The bedding is luxurious and we loved the rainfall shower head and the gorgeous bathroom products. There was plenty of storage and the minibar was fab. We have nothing but praise for all of the staff, from housekeeping to the lovely girls on reception to the wait-staff and bar staff (best espresso martini I’ve ever had btw!) They were all SO genuinely lovely, accommodating and so kind to our two little boys. The food was gorgeous; so fresh, excellent portion sizes and tasty. We especially love the mussels, beef cheek, whole seabream and the Hollandaise sauce was the best I’ve ever tasted! Without a doubt, we’ll be staying at The Godolphin again. It felt like a real home-from-home. The location is absolutely perfect and the views are incredible. We felt really welcome and comfortable. I was genuinely sad to leave as was our 3 year old, who told us he wanted to live in Cornwall! Thank you to everyone who made it such a great trip. We left a £50 tip as a small thank you.

Fantastic warm welcome, continued with lovely staff throughout the entire 2 night stay. Without exception, every member of the team was enthusiastic, friendly, welcoming, attentive and professional. Easy parking, good value at £10 per night. Our room (Jubilee) was spacious, bright and warm. Very large balcony with great views over the bay and St Michael’s Mount. Breakfast was excellent, as were all meals. Not a great deal of choice for main dishes, but there were so many unusual starters and sharing plates,, we were determined to try as many as possible. Some fantastic combinations, all beautifully served and very well priced. The dining area, is just beautiful, incredible views, even if you’re not sitting next to a window. All in all a fantastic little hotel right on the waterfront with the best staff possible.

Our first visit was as a couple on a wet afternoon earlier this week when we popped in on the off chance of a hot drink and a late lunch. We were offered a table with a perfect view and had a lovely lunch. What impressed us most was the friendliness of the staff and their sincerity - so much so we booked a table for today to come as a family to have an afternoon tea to finish off a week’s stay in Cornwall. So today we went back and while we had asked for a table with a view knowing it couldn’t be guaranteed, the staff were able to accommodate our request and also able to help with another request, without any issue. Our afternoon tea was perfect in terms of the variety of food, the quality of the food and the amount we had. We stayed for a couple of hours and never felt rushed. All the staff were polite and attentive, and again the service was perfect. Well worth a visit - rain or shine!

Stunning views of St Michaels Mount, a bit more expensive than other places near by but your paying extra for the position and views. We had a really nice meal with a fabulous view of St Michael's Mount, it felt really special. The fish was expertly cooked and battered light. Had an issue with burnt potatoes but replaced efficiently, all in all a good experience with lovely staff.

Very disappointed. We have been lots of times as a family for coffee and loved it. However today was a windy day and the door was left open causing a through draft and it was freezing. The coffee was not hot enough!!! It seemed quite disorganised and there was no attention to detail.
