1. I booked here specially for visiting Tintagel Castle. It is really close to walk there, and there is no charge for parking. The scenery outside the window is very good, which is okay for a one-day stay.
2. The hotel is a building at the end of the 19th century, which has been remodeled later, but the room conditions are really poor, the sound insulation is not good, the bed feels like it is falling apart, and it is very inconvenient to take a shower. The so-called public bathroom is full of sundries. The ____ does not work. The bathroom in the room is very small, I can't turn around anyway.
3. The food in the hotel is very good, the breakfast is relatively rich, and the price of dinner is also good.
4. The hotel's elevator is an old Victorian elevator that often appears in movies. I was a little scared, but I tried it once.

The team at Camelot made you feel very welcome from when you first set foot in the hotel. The room was clean and view was excellent overlooking Tintagel Castle. We had a great stay and will return!

Hotel and surrounding absolutely amazing, Christmas decorations superb, bedroom view equally amazing, staff friendly and helpful.
Bad point's-: The wifi in the room was absolutely shocking, if want peace and quiet its perfect, but if any work related stuff needs doing forget it.
I know it was my choice but i paid £440 for 3 night's, surely breakfast could have been thrown in, but no £15:50 each,by the time you get the bill its an £50 per day!
Then there was a carol service for the locals, we wasn't told, the whole down stairs blocked, had to use the workmen stairs, if we needed the lift hard luck!

This was quite a unique experience. Staff are friendly and attentive. The hotel is clean, but still undergoing some renovation. Don’t be fooled by the exterior and slightly dated corridors, however, don’t expect a ‘usual’ hotel experience. This is a stay in a family home, so expect the unexpected! Young’un was whizzing round on his hover board, and one of the owners (an artist) walks round at dinner introducing himself and offering a tour of his studio! The family dined with us as well - the menu is small but interesting - we had Borscht and Waldorf salad and pasta main (a bit disappointed with this, it was pretty plain), however, the Russian honey cake was delicious. Not a high end hotel, but quite the experience!!!!

The location was nice but the hotel room itself ruined the experience. The bed was hard, the room didn’t have a microwave or fridge, now heating or air conditioning, the towels and robes felt like you were wearing a pumice rock. Don’t let the allure of their online pictures coax you into staying here. Go down to the cornishman inn for a way better experience!

The hotel was in a very nice location, however the service charges of £12.50 on the bill doesn't go towards the serving staff. It was for the linen and bread rolls you received when eating in the hotel. The choice of meals at dinner was very poor and the food was cold and had to be returned. At breakfast again the food wasnt hot and I was very dissatisfied, having had the problem at dinner the previous night.
