Nice quiet setting in the Irish countryside. Breakfast was delicious and the staff was kind and accommodating. A bit removed from the mainstream, but that's exactly what we were looking for. Highly recommend!

We booked expecting a room similar to the picture and the description provided on the web, but they gave us a room in the stables of the house, which urgently need total renovation: old furniture, no hot water in the toilet sink, no light in the shower room.

Very picturesque location - surrounded by fields with horses and pasture. Early morning walks around the grounds were nice - saw lots of rabbits and birds. Made friends with the horses. Quiet area, except for the thin walls that allowed us to hear our neighbors at night. Bed was lumpy and soft but adequate. Room overlooked the yard where a bright light was on all night, making it hard to sleep for one of us. Room was a bit hot as we couldn't open the windows very far. A room on the front of the building might be better. Nice tea service available to all guests in the hallway. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices and plenty of food! No real interaction with hosts which was fine but it felt more like an inn/hotel rather than a B&B.

Just a short drive from Macroom and not far from Cork, is this amazing House nestled in the quiet countryside. Easy to find, just follow the signs, and in big grounds with plenty of parking. We had two rooms booked for two couples and both were very comfortable, clean and quiet. The owners are lovely people who couldn't do enough for us, friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was very good with plenty of variety. There is also a separate bar / games room with an honesty bar, small snooker table, darts board and tv, a great place to relax at the end of a long day. We stayed for three nights and had a very relaxed and enjoyable stay - fully recommended.

We had a wonderful time here. The house is beautiful and our room was spacious. I was hot and the hosts were kind enough to find a fan. Jackie, our host, was so friendly and charming. We Loved the bar (which operates on an honor system) and is so charming. We met the horses and their three dogs. Breakfast was wonderful. I Highly recommend staying here!!

This is a beautiful restored country property, with magnificent views and easy access to the town of Macroom. The breakfast was delicious, but coffee and tea service was available in the upstairs hallway as well as in each room. Additionally, there is an informal family area with a pool table, bar, and games.
Improvements would include better beds and better lighting in the bathroom. Great value, all in all.
