First time staying in a 1918 old mine! The vibe is great. The hallways are like a fun maze, and the rock walls feel very special. The bathroom is a bit old, but I don't mind because the experience is so unique. If you want to try living underground, this is the place!

We enjoyed a comfortable stay. The apartment was easily the most spacious we have had. Being underground - cave the temperature was nice and cool.

It was a lovely place to stay if one was after an underground experience. The space was large and we did not feel claustrophobic at all.
However, the cafe was not open despite good level of occupancy.

A very distinctive underground cave hotel, a must-see when visiting the opal mining town of Coober Pedy. You can even see the opal veins in the hotel room. The breakfast is poor.

It was very hot outside, but the room was comfortable without air conditioning. I am very grateful to the staff for being so kind to me.
There don't seem to be many restaurants in town, but the rooms are stocked with plates and cutlery, and you can eat food you buy at the supermarket or take out. It was also a great experience to try Australian Vegemite for breakfast.
Perhaps because it wasn't the peak season, there were often no people at the front desk, but I don't think there will be any problems if you communicate well in advance.

The view from the balcony of the room is very good, facing the sea. The facilities are complete and you can cook by yourself. There are tableware and pots in the room.
