Hotel Acadia

We had a great time in Quebec City. The Acadia hotel had been damaged due to a fire so they put us up in a nice hotel near Acadia. Great staff and accommodating.

Hotel Acadia burned 2wks before. Hotel was not able to contact us through ******* but put us in another of their hotels. Clean, central and great fromt desk service.

Gorgeous building and peaceful environment! The place is close to every tourist attractions, you can arrive by walking.

Where to begin on this poor experience. Over a week before our stay, the hotel Acadia had caught fire. We were not informed in advance that the hotel would be closed for renovations, only to get there to find the hotel boarded up. There were no notices on or around the hotel and only by chance did we speak with someone who advised us of the issue and that we should have been notified. We were sent to another hotel, Jardin du Gouverneur. Once there they informed us we had a room at yet another hotel, L'Ermitage, which we looked into and found it was a cheaper room than the one we had booked. When we raised this issue, the concierge advised we would get a credit for the difference (this has yet to be provided). As well, as part of the hotel stay we should have received a bottle of wine. This normally isn't a big deal however when the concierge made a point to go out of his way to advise it would come and it didn't, it shows a lack of faith in this establishment. The location is also supposed to have housekeeping as advertised which never came. For a three night stay we were provided with a half roll of toilet paper. Since there was nobody on site we were left to scrounge for our supplies. I would not recommend these three hotels.

We didn’t like arriving to the hotel and seeing it dark and closed due to a fire 4 days before. No one notified us of this.

Amazing deal staying in a 3 bedroom 2 1/2 bath plus sauna 2 story house with 4 people, right in the downtown area. Had some trouble with the TV's, but, who wants to watch TV anyway? We wanted to see Quebec. Great city! The owner/manager of Acadia was super friendly and very helpful; the staff not so much. Partly because of being new, or too busy, and some seem to not care. Overall, we had a great stay, and for a great price. We would have had to pay the same for 3 hotel rooms. This way, we had the whole house.

I had to leave the property after checking in within 1 hour. The property is very old and it was stinking inside. It was not a great Expereince at all. I had to book another hotel nearby to stay for the night and had to pay again.

It was a nice little hotel without all the bustle of the larger options. Good pricing for the location and provides a good experience of the old city for that Quebec flair.

It was ok not what I expected but my search didn't give me many options so I ended choosing that hotel.
